Theme From Vision to Action

Introduction The Belt and Road Summit brings together senior government officials,
representatives of international institutions, business leaders and industry
experts from countries along and beyond the Belt and Road to exchange
views on multilateral co-operation and explore new business opportunities
arising from the Belt and Road Initiative. The inaugural edition in 2016
attracted 40+ heavyweight speakers and 2,400+ participants from 48
countries and regions.

Investment The concurrent Investment and Business-matching Session is an integrated

and matchmaking and networking platform connecting project owners &
Business- operators, investors and services providers from related business sectors.
matching Through participation in this session, participants can build new connections
Session and explore collaboration with potential partners.
In 2016, more than 400 project owners and investors participated in the
workshops which featured over 100 investment projects and resulted in
more than 120 business connections concluded.
