Dear classmates, Fillmore High

School Class of 1952,

Evelyn and I enjoyed seeing and

visiting with you at our 65th high
school reunion on June 10, 2017.
We were very fortunate to have
grown up in a small rural
community and have a strong
school system supported by the
community. We carry forth many
fond memories of our teenage
experiences and friendships. I have
enclosed a picture of the 11 of us
who attended the reunion, Mary
Helen missed our group picture but
with modern technology we have
included her.
Like you families are very im-
portant to us. Our family continues
to grow and by December we will
have 9 great grandchildren. We
have done extensive family history 1st row L to R 2nd row L to R
as both Evelyns and my family Anita Claudina Moreno Solza, Elsie
Lee Tallent Conaway, Genelle Donald Gray Scanlin, James
lines all came to the United States Richard Maddux, Roger Arlen
in the 1600s and 1700s. We have Stubblefield Colvard, Dorothe June
Ardre Wise, Carolyn Rose Elkins Wileman, Stephen H Percy,
been able to trace some family lines Sherman Philip Hollowel Rice
back to the 600s. For the past 2 Middle: Mary Hellen Ybarra
years we have been asked to teach Monahan
the members of our church in the
Camarillo and Oxnard areas how to
do the same for their families. We
primarily use Family Search and
Ancestry.com as resources. If any
of you have any interest in finding
out your family history and how to
get it organized and documented,
please let me know and Ill be
happy to help. Mark you calendar
for June 2022 for our 70th High
School Reunion
