WORK EXPERIENCE
RAHAGEER-QUANTOFY SOLUTIONS PVT. LTD. [Summer Intern as Data Scientist] [May16-Jul16]
PROJECT ENHANCING PRICE LOCKS MODEL FOR AIRLINE TICKETS
CHARTER 1 Analysis of fare sheet data and using key outputs for model enhancement using skills in R programming & MySQL
- Developed Selenium code for auto-download process, integrated with Scheduler for download of new fare sheet
EXECUTION - Standardized data from various fare sheets to a common desired format
- Built SQL query to create database tables for upload of fare sheet data and subsequent for analysis
DELIVERABLE - Created repository of fare sheets data which is important input for computation of lock prices
CHARTER 2 Prediction and Analysis of jumps in fare values and levels using R programming
- Range comparison of fare sheet values with live fare prices using pivot tables analysis
EXECUTION
- Interactive plots of fare values using ggplot in R to keep record and analyze the fare movement with time
IMPACT - Comparison of fares with live prices give track of next fare jump and level: useful for deciding PRICE LOCK
P.N. SHIDHORE CIVIL ENGINEERS PVT. LTD. MUMBAI [Summer Trainee in Tech. Dept.] [May15-Jun15]
PROJECT-1 NOISE MAPPING, MUMBAI
CHARTER Analyze noise pollution levels using data for various locations in Mumbai
- Generate summary of decibel values and distribution pattern using 48 hours noise pollution data across 20 locations
EXECUTION
- Plotting frequency distribution curves after filtering the outliers using BOX-PLOT method
- Average decibel noise values obtained from large data were verified from Environmental Standards
IMPACT
- Measures would be taken if decibel values are found to be greater than the set parameters
PROJECT-2 NAVI MUMBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Land Acquisition application
CHARTER Develop map based desktop application showing land acquisition status of land
- Worked towards making interactive ArcGIS map: switching between existing & newly awarded land
EXECUTION - Highlighting feature was zooming in and out in the map allocating the awarded land
- Other land related documents of a land-holder can also be accessed from the map, example 7/12
PLATFORM USED - Python, ArcGIS, Excel, AutoCAD

PROJECTS
Binary Response Prediction Model for Customer Retention Mentor: Prof. Faiz Hamid [Jan16-Apr16]
Applied data preprocessing techniques like data reduction and correlation on train dataset comprising of 70,000 observations
Developed predictive model for customer retention based on various attributes using Random Forest ensemble method using R
Model achieved accuracy of about 68% computed using Confusion Matrix
GIS of Campus | Undergraduate Project Mentor: Prof. Bharat Lohani [Jan15- Apr15]
Developed map based desktop application depicting water quality in campus, programming was done using Visual Basic in ArcMap
