Blood Donation Camps for Year '2010

Every year blood donation camps are held all over the globe by Niranakai Mission to commemorate the sacrifice and services rendered to the entire human race by His
Holiness Baba Gurbachan Singh ji Maharaj. Earlier, the blood donation camps were held on Manav Ekta Divas i.e. on 24th of April the day when Baba Gurbachan Singh ji
Maharaj laid down his life to uphold the principles of peace, unity and humanity. But since the last few years, at the request of blood banks, these camps are being held
throughout the year, according to the needs of the local blood banks. At the same time medical camps are also held for the poor and needy. Below mentioned is the
schedule of blood donation, medical camps which took place / to be held in Mumbai.

In the first phase of blood donation camps was held at Chembur Bhawan on 24th April '2010, 300 bottles of blood have been collected

The second phase of blood donation camps was held at Sanpada Bhawan(105 units), Goregaon Santosh Nagar Bhawan (242 units), Navy Nagar
Bhawan (130 units) and Dadar Bhawan (158 units) on 20th June '2010. All together 755 bottles of blood were donated.

The camp was inaugurated by Mayor Shri Sagar Naik Ji, Navi Mumbai. One hundred (100 ) units of blood were donated by the Nirankari Devotees in this camp. More
than 50 were rejected due to less of haemoglobin or one or the other medical problems. Due to short of time also many saints could not donate the blood. As it was
started at 9.45 sharp and ended at 2.30 p.m.

There was good response for this noble cause from our Saints. Some of the sewadal members also donated blood in this camp. Shri Kishor Dingia, Kehetriya Sanchalak
also attended the camp.

The third phase of blood donation camps was held at Kalwa Bhawan (215), Uran Bhawan (51), Andheri (328), Chunabhatti (82) & Valiv (Vasai (187) on 27th June '2010. All together
863 bottles of blood were donated.
