concept stage for Accessories takes place at
exactly the same time as the bikes. How

TECHNICAL DESIGN AND STYLING

Once a design concept has been chosen it
is then down to the business of making it
a reality. Production materials and methods
need to be appraised at this early stage,
as they will have an affect on the ultimate
styling and function of the product.
There is a process of prototyping, testing,

reviewing and making any changes
necessary to make sure the product looks
and performs as it should.
TESTING AND QUALITY
All Triumph Accessories go through a
gruelling, and often destructive, series of
tests. This way we can be sure that the
Accessories are up to the job.
Take Pav testing for example. This involves

riding a bike over rough cobbles, such as
you may find in quaint Belgian towns (only
potholed, uneven and extremely bumpy) to
simulate the enormous mileages that a bike
and its Accessories may find itself doing.
The lucky accessory will also find itself being

subject to humidity and salt tests, UV and
X-rays, cosmetic inspections and numerous
other tests dependant on the product.
For approved exhaust systems this process

involves the development of a bespoke engine
tune for each exhaust to ensure the engine
