ABOUT
Working on stage for the first time can be daunting and is potentially
dangerous. Having an understanding about protocol and on-stage
etiquette is essential to a safe theatre experience. While learning about
health and safety, students will also learn about stage management and
risks assessment. Theatre production engages an array of multiple disciplines
and practices including creative, administrative and technological. This
introduction will outline potential roles a student could pursue while giving an
appreciation to the scale of team commitment required in this challenging
industry. This workshop will enable students to put into practice their taught
skills about stagecraft through an introduction to drama and performance.
There are many different facets to drama. This introduction will look at a
layered technique as outlined in the content menu below.

TestimoniAls
The idea behind Lets Create is fantastic. My child enjoyed every day and gained a huge
amount of confidence from the activities.. Allowing her to share her ideas and concepts
for the activities and producing something herself from them was very different from many
other camps she has done. She made it clear she cant wait to go again. I personally was
blown away with the fun showcase at the end of the week and thoroughly recommend
this camp.

My child really enjoyed the camp and learnt a lot, she did not feel pressured to perform.
This helped her to be much more forthcoming. My child has special needs and I found this
camp to be most inclusive. All staff I met were excellent. The final performances were a
credit to the camp. All children included and happy. I would highly recommend this camp
