The professional job I chose to describe for this activity is a Teacher/ Professor. They play an

important role in our society for as anyone can remember. They are like messengers, they

deliver the highest type of knowledge to teach individual in or society. Usually being experts in

art or science. They are the ones who make each individual to understand how things work in

life. In connection with communication, it is their main form of teaching. They communicate to

people by relating the knowledge to them in a way and in the language any person can

understand. It may be in different languages for different races. Either way, they deliver

education and knowledge through the form of language.

1. Is communication important interms of business? How and why?

Yes communication is important because if we cant communicate how can we

understand each other, how can we interpret or how can we know one another needs and

wants, and how can we satisfy those.

2. Are you using English in your communication? How and why?

 Iam using English in communication because in the business world specially when you

talk to high ranking individuals you have to report or present in English, because in the

Philippines English has become a medium of presenting yourself in a formal way. And

we also know that English is an international language which indicates that people from

other countries can communicate with us using this language, by that we can know and

understand each other. If we know and understand each other, we can cater their needs

and satisfy them by providing the goods and services that they want from us.

3. How did you learn English as your medium of instruction?

I learned English at home at the age of 5 from watching English cartoons and then it

was enhanced when I started studying.

4. Is communication part of the success in your company? How

Yes communication is part of the success in our company, because if we cant

communicate then how can we know? How can we provide what they really want, and

how can we satisfy? And how can we understand their feedback. Without communication

the whole world would be in war because we cant understand each other, the business

world will fall into pieces because we cant provide what they really want.

Yes, in order to socialize with different costumers so that their trust and satisfaction in a

certain product will remain.

2.Are you using English in your communication? How and why?

 Yes. Because we know English is the most used medium here in our world and we know

that when we speak English, it is formal to hear.

3.How did you learn English as your medium of instruction?

Ive learn English as my medium of instruction in school because it is one of the subjects

that we need to pass in school.

4.Is communication part of the success in your company? How?

Yes, without communication there will be no transactions, or should I say sales talk

because that is one of the key to my success in my company.
