Chicken - 200 gm

Onion - 50 gm

Ginger - 25 gm

Garlic - 25 gm

Curry leaves - 1 sprig

Green chilli - 2

Salt - to taste

Turmeric - 1 pinch

Chilli powder - 10 gm

Coriander powder 10 gm

Pepper - 50 gm

Garam masala - 10 gm

Coconut oil - 50 ml


Wash the chicken and marinate it with ginger-garlic paste and salt for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in pan, add chopped onions and saut till brown. Then add ginger, garlic,
green chilli, curry leaves and when brown add the tomatoes. Cook until oil comes
out. Add turmeric, chilli and coriander powder and cook until golden brown. Add
half a cup of water. When water boils add the marinated chicken and cook well for
15 minutes. Finally finish with pepper and seasoning. Serve hot with malabari
