The Superintending Engineer,TDWSP Nirmal has critically reviewed the

progress in detail on Mission Bhagiratha Project and instructed to achieve the mile
stones as per the targets communicated below.

Phase -I Works
1. Intake Wells
The Superintending Engineer has reviewed the progress of Intake wells in
SRSP Adilabad ,Komarambheem ,Yellampally & Kaddam Segments . The
agency has explained the progress of each component and informed that all
works will be completed by March 2017.
The Superintending Engineer Nirmal has instructed the agency to
complete all civil works by March 2017, except rapid sand filter and
back wash water tank.

and Project Manager, MEIL has explained the Progress of MS,DI and
HDPE Pipelines.

 SE TDWSP Nirmal instructed to the agency to accelerate the Progress in
pipe line by increasing the work force to complete within the Target
date.
At present 6 Batches for MS pipline is engaged and No valves are
Procured .
There are no Separate batches for construction of Pedestals it is
instructed by SE TDWSP Nirmal to increase batches in all aspects of
Laying MS Pipeline .
The Agency has explained that the major parts of Pipeline is falling in
rock area hence, SE TDWSP Nirmal has reviewed in detail about laying
of pipeline in such areas. The following details has been submitted by
the agency in this regard.
DI pipeline stretch in Ichoda SD is around 216 Kms out of Which 144
Kms is expected to come under Hard rock strata .The SE TDWSP Nirmal
has instructed to finish the DI line in clear stretches first and Increase
the Batches for the DI lines .
There is no Procurement of Valves in done till date for the Total Segment
of SRSP Adilabad hence it has been instructed to expedite the
procurement process .

and to increase the man power and Machinery in laying of HDPE Pipes .
Per day target for laying of pipeline is around 20 Kms to reach the taget
by jun 2017
Canal Crossing near WTP to be sorted out immediately .
 All the pipeline stretches which are clear in all aspects are tobe taken up
immediately .
The Agency has explained that the major parts of Pipeline is falling in
rock area hence, SE TDWSP Nirmal has reviewed in detail about laying
of pipeline in such areas. The following details has been submitted by
the agency in this regard.
Duct chambers must be taken up simultaneously with OFC laying.
Pipelines in Agriculture lands must be expedited within the summer
season to avoid further delay in work.
