Coworking Space with Onsite Childcare to Double in Size as Work-from-Home

Parents and Entrepreneurs Seek Out Alternative Solutions to Work-Life

Balance

Tysons, VA, November 16, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Play, Work or Dash, LLC, a coworking space with
onsite childcare located in Tysons, Va., will celebrate its second anniversary by more than doubling its
current location in response to the increasing demand of parents searching for a way to balance work
and/or entrepreneurship with their family's needs. Play, Work or Dash offers a professional, yet warm
environment with a shared office space, conference room, and a supervised playroom for children ages 9
months to 8 years old. Children can remain in the playroom for up to three hours per day while their
parents take advantage of the space and community to grow their business, work remotely without
interruption, host meetings, or dash off-site for quick errands.

The planned expansion, which is currently under construction and will be open January 2, 2018, will
more than double the shared office space, increase the size of the playroom and conference room, add a
call room, add six private offices, and create event space for evenings and weekends. Two of the offices
will feature half-day dedicated desks, while the others can be rented for exclusive use. The private offices
will include mail services and 24/7 access.

Nicole Dash, owner and founder of Play, Work or Dash, said, Since we opened in January 2016, we've
provided support to nearly 600 families from our 1500 square foot facility. During the first year in
business we experienced an average 25 percent month over month growth solely based on word-of-mouth
referrals, local media attention, and organic social media engagement. Some of our members are even
driving as much as two hours round trip for only three hours of support because families are searching for
a different answer. A more flexible child care option that matches our changing workforce.

According to Global Workplace Analytics 40 percent of the workforce will be made up of freelancers,
temps, independent contractors and solopreneurs by 2020.

In addition to the work-from-home workforce, a growing percentage of the population - especially

women - are starting their own businesses. According to Inc.com, Of the 692 women-led companies in
the Inc. 5000, the Washington, DC area boasts 74 of them. That's 23 percent of the total, higher than that
of any other metro area with at least 10 women-led companies on the list.

And according to a survey done by RedBookMag.com, of the nearly 3 in 10 American mothers who
classify themselves as stay at home moms 62 percent contribute to their household income, 25 percent
run a home-based business, and they are spending an average of 4.5 hours working per day.

Dash, who is a mother of four, a serial entrepreneur, and Realtor, said, As someone who cared for other
people's children in my home-based daycare for nearly 10 years, I knew that I could put together a quality
program for children that would help parents feel secure enough to push forward their entrepreneurial
goals and dreams. What I discovered is how many different people really need an option like this. Our
flexible on-demand child care solution is helping start-up businesses, solopreneurs, remote workers,

contract employees, parents going back to school who need to study, parents who simply need a break,
homeschooling families needing socialization, and anyone who needs a reliable back-up option when
schools or daycares are closed.

She said, With our expansion, we will be able to offer more small business owners and solopreneurs an
opportunity to focus on building their businesses faster. Our private offices and expanded shared office
space and meeting space will give anyone with or without children the opportunity to be part of a
community that values work-life balance and is truly forward thinking. This is just the beginning for us
and for this new concept in combining a place to work with a place that offers the right amount of family
support.

Founding member and long-time supporter of Play, Work or Dash Rachel Kraft said, Play, Work, or
Dash has opened up possibilities for me that I didn't even know I wanted. It is an incredible blessing to
know that my son, and sometimes daughter on school breaks, is being cared for and played with while I
work. But it's more than that - the spirit of camaraderie and empowerment among the members have
inspired me to start a new venture and I feel equipped to go for it due to the workshops and resources the
PWD team puts together. I love Play, Work or Dash!
