Resolution in Support of Republican Nominee Roy Moore for US Senate WHEREAS, The 5" Congressional District Republican Executive Committee of Alabama believes, that a person is innocent until proven guilty and that this is one of the most sacred principles in the American justice system, and WHEREAS, the Washington Post and many national media have shown known bias against Republican candidates and there are known discrepancies in the accusations that need further investigation and resolution, and WHEREAS, Doug Jones has presented himself to be a Liberal Democrat supporting abortion and the progressive, national Democrat platform, and his election would have a negative affect on Alabama and our Nation, and AND WHEREAS, Roy Moore has a 30 plus year record of outstanding honesty and moral public service in Alabama, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the 5" Congressional District Republican Executive Committee of Alabama continues its support of Roy Moore for US Senate as the voter's Republican nominee at this time, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the 5" Congressional District Republican Executive Committee of Alabama requests that the ALGOP Steering Committee also express their support of the Republican nominee Approved by the 5" Congressional District Republican Executive Committee This 14" day of November 2017
