Single option questions are easy to track but in questions having

multiple answers, one option is sure shot but there will be other
2, which might confuse.

Following is my experience:

1. Almost all questions were from the material only(WBT in particular).

2. too many questions on datawarehousing. So many questions on ADW, EDW, application
datamodels, enterprise datamodels
3. many questions on administrative tools - which tool will do what & to get this info what tool
has to used kind of questions.
4. 60% OF THE QUESTIONS WERE ASKED INDIRECTLY..
5. 2-3 questions on Data dictionary tables.
6. atleast 5-6 question were asked twice with different options and intentions.
7. good number of questions on PPI and MLPPI

I feel the following has to be done thoroughly to get some edge.

1. Read WBT thoroughly.. LINE TO LINE. ( this is very much required and most important thing
to be done).
2. Many question related to datawarehousing in general. ( things like star schema, dimensional
modelling )

On a whole i would say it is a CONCEPTUAL paper both in terms of datawarehousing questions

and teradata database questions.

I can not specifically think of any weird question as all Qs appeared normal only. (but
asked in indirect way ).
Refer to the mail which has been circulated earlier (some one in Mumbai has compiled
some questions... i think u might be having it already)...Mostly the questions are like that
only. (In that mail he talked about some syntax Qs ... I did not get any syntax
questions).

For me all Qs are asked from topics in WBTs only.

Read it line by line thoroughly.. (this should be more than sufficient).

Also one important point is

You will not get your final score ( marks) after passing. And you have to clear with mininum
50% in all subject areas of a certification exam besides getting overall total.

This is what has been said by the TCPP when i mailed them about my marks .:---

"If you do not pass an exam, the TCPP team does provide a "Notice of Exam Results"
document that lists sections of the exam that indicate where a 50% or better score was
not achieved. These are the areas where additional studying is needed. "
