OPERATING IN THE SUPERNATURAL

A Message Delivered By Pastor Abraham John-Ozeh on Sunday Chapel

Isaiah 45:11, Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me
of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands
command ye me.

God wants to turn you into a commander-in-chief, so that whatever you tell,
Come, will come and whatever you tell, Go, will go. In other for you to work in
the supernatural, foundation is very important. You cannot operate in the
supernatural without the love of God. You cannot operate in the supernatural
without the love of God.

You may even be angry with God at the moment, but it is only God that can help
you, so there is a need for you to return to God in love. You cannot hold anything
against God and expect Him to help you.

I Corinthians 2:9, But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither
have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them
that love him. It is your level of love for God that will determine what He gives to
you.

What is your heart beat for God like? Is your heart panting after God? Bishop
David Oyedepo once said, You cannot know my depth or understand what is
spurring me to do the things I do, until you know my heart for God. The Psalmist
said, As the deer panteth after the water, so my soul longeth after thee.

If you desire that testimony to come speedily, you need to walk in the love of
God. There is something God has reserved for you, theres something he has kept
for you. Its His heart desire to give you the very best. But you need to check your
love for God. You cannot give God a conditional love, If you bless me, Ill serve
you. You must check to see if your heart is panting after Him, or after material
things.
The truth is that if you can love Him wholeheartedly, theres nothing He can hold
back from you. He loves you without any reservation. He gave you His only son to
prove to you that he loves you.

When you walk in love, you carry His presence, and you cannot carry His presence
and be barren, you cannot carry His presence and be in lack or want. Even if
people mock you, let them mock you, and let God make you.

Ephesians 3:17, That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being
rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is
the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ,
which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

It doesnt matter what people have said about you, it doesnt matter how you feel
about yourself, He loves you. You must also walk in love. When you walk in love,
you are supernaturally connected, you dont need to struggle.

The Bible, says in 1 John 4:16, And we have known and believed the love that
God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God
in him. In Mathew 6:33, the Bible says, But seek ye first the kingdom of God,
and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

New Birth

New birth ushers you into the realm of the supernatural. You cannot walk in the
realm of the supernatural in the energy of the flesh. You cannot walk in the
supernatural when He is not living in you. Except He dwells in you, He cannot do
His work through you. It is only His own that He will empower to do sign and
wonders. It is only His own that He will give what it takes to walk in the
supernatural.

It is not enough for you to just desire it, it is much more important for you to be
initiated. If you have a dog in your house, it doesnt matter how long that dog has
lived with you, it will not have an inheritance in your family. Why? Because it is a
dog, it is not one of your children. It has no understanding of resources or human
understanding. The scripture refers to an unbeliever as a dog. If you are not a
believer, you cannot walk in the supernatural because you are a dog.

New birth is the starting point; it is the initiation, which is where it all begins. New
birth re-positions us to command the supernatural. Ephesians 2:5-6, Even when
we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are
saved ;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly
places in Christ Jesus... It is new birth that positions you and gives you a voice
and makes you a commander-in-chief. It is new birth that takes you as a nobody
and restores what has been stolen from you.

Jeremiah 1:11-12, Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said
the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

What are you seeing? You must be able to picture yourself from scripture to know
who you really are. If you know who you are, you will never be beggarly again. If
you know who you are, you will achieve anything you set your hands to do. If can
see the picture God has painted concerning you in scriptures, you will know that
you can never be poor again, because Jesus was made poor for you to be rich. You
would know that you are seated far above.

If you cannot change the way you think, even God cannot help you. If you can
truly imagine yourself in the picture God has created for you, you would be as
powerful as the Word itself. Whatever the devil has taken from you, you will take
it back right now. Just see it!

Abraham saw it, Moses saw it, Paul saw it, and Peter saw it! If you would see it,
there would be no limit to your exploits in life. There is nothing natural about you
when you are a child of God, but until you can see it, you cant walk in the reality
of it. You need to see WHO you are. A child of anything is that thing. A child of a
goat is a goat, a child of a dog is a dog, etc. A child of God, therefore, is a god.
Understand that and begin to walk in the supernatural. John 10:34, Jesus
answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
