Materials:
-white piece of paper with line drawn on it
-different color stickers
Implementations:
-I will sit with 3 students at a time to do this activity.
- I will give each student their own paper with a different line on
each paper
-I will also give the students stickers
-I will tell the students to peel the stickers and place them on the
line following it
Teaching strategies:
Questions: While the students are doing the activity, I will ask them
questions like, what kind of line is that?
Invitations: I will invite students to work with me. Since I am only
working with a small group, I will ask the class who would like to
work with me first and also invite the students to come.
Reflection:
My activity went well. All the students understood what to do and were
excited to pick the different types of lines they want to work on. They
had fun peeling the stickers and placing them on the line. Some of the
students were also making a pattern with the stickers because the
stickers were different colors. Overall the activity went well. Next time I
will extend the activity by asking the students to draw their own lines
too and then placing stickers on them.
