Introduction
Throughout the career, industrial engineers must require a range of knowledge and
skills that will help them to develop in an appropriate way both in the workplace
and in the staff.

At present there is a competition in which it is required to be a better Engineer in


the branch that specializes, many of those skills and knowledge are learned in the
day one day of their study and their work, in our concept of Industrial Engineering
must to be an outstanding person in the tasks they perform, in mathematics alike,
to learn more and more the language that in this case is Spanish that in our career
is very fundamental due to relations with foreigners and the sea in a personal or
business.

The competence we have in our work environment leads us to be better every day,
to have the need to learn new things and to be able to apply them in our work,
attaching more in the emphasis of knowledge proper to our profession, we must
perfect our attitudes that could potentially enable us to be a business leader in the
Industrial Engineering that increasingly requires the country. For the training
required in the passage of the years. Possibly highlight areas of quite functioning
as (production, logistics, environment, finance, marketing, manufacturing, etc.)

Punctual development of skills

In order to exercise correctly this profession of Industrial Engineer must have the
development necessarily with some or all of the skills and knowledge mentioned
below; some of these skills and knowledge may be innate, others may be acquired
while developing the profession.
These are some of the most important:

Ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering.


Ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as for data analysis and
interpretation.
Ability to design and improve integrated systems (by people, materials,
information, etc.), components or processes capable of meeting
predetermined needs, complying with realistic economic, environmental,
social, political, ethical, sanitary, manufacturing and sustainability.
Ability to work efficiently in multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to identify, formulate and solve organizational problems through the
use of approaches and techniques specific to Industrial Engineering.
Awareness and understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.
Skills proper to effective communication.
Education broad enough to understand the impact of engineering and
management solutions, in a global, economic, environmental and social
context.
Awareness of the need to count and commit to continuous learning.
Understanding the problems of contemporary engineering and
management.
Ability to use cutting-edge Industrial Engineering techniques, tools and
approaches required for professional practice.

CONCLUSION
In short, an industrial engineer must have a good training and fulfill many qualities
to carry out a good development of his work as a protagonist in the optimization of
production processes, however, I consider that the stronger quality that Must have an
industrial engineer is the driveability, because this allows you to trust your methodology
and the performance of others, this is the quality that will allow you to be a good
professional ... industrial engineer.
