RESUMO
ABSTRACT
Population aging has high rates and rapid growth of the elderly. This period of life culminates
with several changes, among them the Sensory Abilities, preventing the gerontes to exercise
its functionality, giving them no autonomy and Quality of Life short of what is called for. This
study aimed to analyze the impact of changes in sensory abilities in Living Groups of elderly
QOL of Campina Grande / PB. It occurred in five groups of cohabitation with 120 seniors. We
used questionnaires of demographic and socioeconomic data and quality WHOQOL-OLD
life. Inclusion criteria were older people who regularly to attend the above-mentioned social
groups, age 60 years with cognition state preserved and wishing to participate. The study
