Java Banking System - JAVA + NetBeans + MySQL.

Abstract:

This eBank Banking System Project is a model Internet Banking Site. This application
enables the customers to perform banking transactions. This application provides employees to
perform banking transaction, manage customer, accounts in efficient meaner. And generate various
customer accounts related reports.

The primary aim of this application is to provide an improved and secured bank transaction
system, which envisages the future expansion, and modification, which is necessary for a core sector
like banking. This necessitates the design to be expandable and modifiable and so a modular
approach is used in developing the software.

All transactions are carried out by transferring from accounts in the same Bank. The software
is meant to overcome the drawbacks of the manual system. The software has been developed using
the most powerful and secure backend mysql and the most widely accepted open source Java
Platform which is being deployed using MS Windows Server 2008.

Administrative Module:
This module is the main module which performs all the main operations in the system. The
major operations in the system are:

Add/Delete/Update Employee
Employee Module:
Employee Login
Creating new Account (General Account/ Current Account/ Loan account/Fixed
Deposit)
Withdrawal/deposit/payment Transaction
Searching account information/Transaction information

Limitations of the Software:

This project was developed to fulfill user requirement; however there are lots of scope to
improve the performance of the Banking System in the area of user interface, database performance,
and query processing time. Etc.

Future Enhancements:

SMS and EMAIL alert facilities.

Allow customer to make bill payment.
