Follow the steps below to select the resource calendar for Christopher Allen:

A second dialog box is displayed, which helps you to define a customized work week. If you
click on any work day youll see that, by default, a work day is scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00
PM with an hour off for lunch.
In this instance, you want to define a four-day, 10-hour work week for Christopher Allen
starting at 8:00 AM and ending at 7:00 PM, and running from Monday through Thursday.
3. Follow the steps below to create a customized work week for Christopher Allen:

B. Click the radio button Set day(s) to these specific working times.
F. Click OK.
Youll return to the Change Working Time dialog box. From here you can observe the effect of
creating the four-day/10 hr/per day schedule for Christopher Allen. Note that Friday of each
week is marked as a nonworking day.
5. In Gantt chart view, choose Task 43, Paint interior walls and ceilings.
6. Choose TaskEditingScroll to Task to display the Gantt bar for Task 43.
7. Examine the Gantt bars for Task 43. Note that Tracy Lynn is assigned to this task. The task
has a duration of 2.5 days,

9. From the drop-down list in the Change Working Time dialog box, select resource Tracy Lynn.
Use the following steps to define training time for Tracy Lynn:

Note the effect on Task 43. Because training time for Tracy Lynn overlaps the dates for task 43,
the task now takes 44.5 days,

Examine the Statistics screen. The last time you reviewed project statistics, the project duration
was 95 days, ending on 10/28/14. Because of the changes you made to individual resource
calendars, the project is now expected to take 98 days to complete, and will end on 10/31/14.
