numerous key projects ranging from railway, light rail, expressway to bridges, buildings, and
municipal works. CCECC has successfully signed the contracts for many large-scale
projects in the past three years, such as Algerian 175 km Double Line Electrified Railway
Project (contract value:1.728 billion Euros) in 2009, Nigerian Railway Modernization Project
(Abuja-Kaduna) (contract value:850 million USD) in 2010, and many other large-scale
railway and expressway projects in Ethiopia, Djibouti, Nigeria and Chad in 2011, among
which the contract value of the Railway Project between Ethiopia and Djibouti hit 1.702
billion USD. By the end of 2011, the number of CCECCs projects under execution
amounted to 128 with total contract value of 8.385 billion USD, which in turn guarantees
CCECC for its sustainable business development and ever growing strength for project
contracting.

CREC successively configured and deployed steam locomotives, DF1 and Beijing diesel
locomotives. At present, the main locomotive type is DF4 diesel locomotives and heavy rail
motor cars for engineering transport as well as DF8B diesel locomotives and SS4
development electric locomotives for contracting transport. Under the background of
popularizing Harmony high-power AC locomotives in China Railway, the company has
purchased 4 sets of Harmony electric locomotives. For the dedicated part of freight
transportation management, CREC owns SS4G TYPE AC locomotives for 57 sets, DF4
diesel locomotives for 98 sets, freight wagon of 270 sets, rail flat wagon of 170 sets, K13
ballast dumping wagon of 158 sets and K18 hopper wagons of 217 sets; owns 26 train
examination railway maintenance workshop, conducting the regular and overhaul
maintenance services for all rolling stock and trains under operation management by
CREC.
So far since establishment, CREC has undertaken railway operation for both passenger
and freight delivery for over 3,904.24 Km, separately realized the accumulated
transportation volume over 399 million person.times and totally 152 million ton with

The Hohhot Jungar Railway is from the west station in north of the Hohhot to south of the Jungar, and
extends westward to Jungar Banner in Ordos City. The total track length is 124.18km and the total
amount of the investment is 1.632 billion Yuan. The designed transportation capacity is 26.7 million tons
per year. It is a local railway depending on the energy base in Erdos of the Inner Mongolia and
dominating by the coal transportation.

The Linhe Ceke Railway began in Linhe and ended in Ceke. The total track length is 780km. it is a
local railway depending on the energy base in Erdos of the Inner Mongolia and dominating by the coal
transportation.

Narrative description of project: It is the extension of the railway from Lunsar to Tonkolili project,
including construction service and maintenance service. The construction service began in January
2011, with an amount of USD 26,504,462.29, including the track laying of 125KM main line and three
shunting tracks. The maintenance service began in April 2013, with amount of USD 5,950,000.00,
including railway check, maintenance of subgrade and railway track, and emergency repair.
Description of Actual Services Provided by Your Staff:
The special railway line is a special line for the transportation of the iron ore in the Sierra Leone. The
design speed is 60km per hour and the railroad rail is a narrow gauge railway with the thickness of
1,067mm. The welding technology and techniques use Chinese railway standards. CCECC was
responsible for contracting to build this project on January 2011 and for undertaking the track laying of
the new lines with 125km and for exchanging the track of the old lines with 33km, including the laying of
the railway ballast, sleeper, steel rail, track switch, welding steel track and tamping the line, etc. The
project has been completed on April, 2013. At present, CCECC is assisting owner to carry out the
operation during the maintenance.

CCECC, as an aid construction representative unit of Chinese government, has dispatched nearly
50,000 engineering and technical staff. There are up to 16,000 engineering and technical staff at the
construction site during the high peaking period. During the engineering construction and subsequent
technology cooperation, there were 66 people who gave their valuable lives in there engineering and
technical staff. After the completion of the railway, the right of competency of the railway has been
delivered to the railway bureau established by the Tanzania and Zambia government for the common
management. After that, in order to ensure the normal operation of the railway, the Chinese government
continued to provide the interest-free loans and offer the technical cooperation assistance, dispatch
CCECC experts and technicians to carry out the vehicle maintenance or provide the consultation and
participate in the operation management. By the end of 1999, Chinese government has accumulatively
dispatched the nearly 3,000 people times of the experts and technicians.
In assistance of CCECC, by the end of 2011, the Tanzam railway has completed 27.46 million tons
of the freight transportation and 44.5 million person times of the passenger transportation.

Narrative Description of Project:
Train operation: responsible for the passenger transportation management of
Shenchi-Huanghua Railway's Shenchi North Station, Ningwu West Station, Longgong
Station, Huifeng Station, Dongye Station, Nanwan Station, Xiaojue Station, Guyue Station
and Xibaipo Station etc. 30 stations in total, and the operation section is 724.94km.
Locomotive and rolling stock: self purchased 120 electric locomotives to participate the
freight transportation and 20 locomotives for the passenger transporting, plus 12 diesel
locomotives to serve the section shunting operation. Locomotive and rolling stock
maintenance: Established Huifeng, Nanwai, and xibaipo maintenance and inspection
depots, responsible for the maintenance of the 724.94 km operations section of the
Shenchi-Huanghua Railway. Line maintenance: infrastructure maintenance and caring,
during the operation period, responsible for the maintenance and inspection of the
infrastructure within the operation section, to ensure the quality always meet the
transportation requirements, and to ensure the safety and smoothness of the transportation.
Training: During 2000 to 2005, trained total 2,000 staffs for us, including drivers, dispatcher,
operation personnel, machine repair, electric power, telecommunications, signals and other
technical jobs, which provide the technical platform for our employees to participate in the
follow-up joint operations. Technical cooperation and after-sale service: the after-sale
service period is from February, 2015 to January, 2017, during the which China Railway

dispatching of cargo and loading and unloading of partial cargo, locomotive daily
maintenance, overhaul, rail line infrastructure maintenance. . The contract price of
operation is 583 million CNY. The total transportation volume during the operating period is
8.67 million tons.
