12 - WEEK TAP INTENSIVE

Class Date - Thursdays 8:20-9:20

Instructor - Vincent Donnadio

GOAL: In this Tap Class, all students will learn basic tap technique, musical numbers as well as
an a Capella number and what it takes to tap on stage! Each student will work with the instructor
to customize their experience and fully learn how to tap. We will also be preparing for our
Showcase in which our young actors will be given an opportunity to perform in front of Agents,
casting directors, directors, producers, family & friends.

CLASS OUTLINE:

Class #1 - INTRODUCTION. Intro to tap! Different types of movements.

Class #2 - WARM UP. Start the warm up!

Class #3 - PERFORMANCE. Learn first number.

Class #4 - PERFORMANCE. Finish Learning choreography.

Class #5 - TECHNIQUE. Finessing all technique.

Class #6 - PERFORMANCE. Second Group Number & A CAPELLA number.

Class #7 - PERFORMANCE. Finish group number.

Class #8 - REVIEW. Finish A Capella Number

Class #9 - PERFORMANCE. Finishing all numbers / work on technique.

Class #10 - REVIEW. Review all technique and movements learned.

Class #11 - REVIEW. Learn final techniques.

Class #12 - PERFORMANCE & REVIEW. Recap the intensive and rehearse for showcase.
