Outline:
The cassette heater is designed for installation to the NP6260 (230V model) as shown herein, and the parts
numbers associated with the cassette heater are provided.

<Installing the Cassette Heater> 6260-002
1)Turn off the copier, and disconnect its power plug.
Caution:Be sure to disconnect the copier's power plug.
2)Remove the 10 screws, and remove the copier's rear cover.
3)Fit the square bush that comes with the cassette heater to the long hole in the copier's rear side panel.

4)Push the release button of the cassette, and pull out cassettes 3 and 4.
5)Loosen the locking knob inside cassette 3, and lift the inside unit to remove.
6)Likewise, lift the inside unit of cassette 4 to remove.
7)Lead the connector of the cassette heater through the long hole in which the square bush was fitted in
step 3). At the same time, hook the cassette heater rear side metal plate in the hole in the cassette stay.

8)Lift the cassette heater until it butts against the copier, and fix it in place using the two screws that come
with the cassette heater.

9)Install the wire saddle to the copier's rear side plate together with the relay harness.
10)Connect the connector of the cassette heater and the connector of the relay harness that comes with the
cassette heater; then, connect the connector on the other end of the relay harness to the copier's
connector.
Caution:To prevent damage by the aculide rail, check to make sure that the relay harness is secured in
place by the wire saddle.

11)Install the copier's rear cover using 10 screws.
12)Fit the inside unit to each cassette, and set each cassette in the copier.
13)Connect the copier's power plug, and turn on the copier.
