The implementation of school-basedmanagement in each unit, type, and level
of education requires adequate managerial skills of headmasterand supported by professional teachers performance. One important factor is the responsibility of headmaster to create a good teacher performance is to ensure the work environment (school climate) that is fun for each member or school personnel, either physical, social and academic. The purpose of the study was to examine and analyze the managerial skills of headmaster and school climate either partially or simultaneously on performance of teachers in Public High Schools in Amahai Sub-District, Central Maluku Districs. The population of this research are all civil teachers and temporary teachers at five (5) Public High Schools in Amahai Sub-District, Central Maluku Districs, with total 113 people. Determination of the number of samples is done by using the Slovins formula thus obtained 88 samples. Research hypothesis testing is using analysis of simple and multiple linear regression. The research results showed that managerial skills of headmaster proven to have a positive influence and significant effect on teacher performance at Public High School in Amahai Sub-District, Central Maluku Districts, and contibuted 97,3%. So the school cilmate proven to have a positive influence and significant effect on teacher performance at Public High School in Amahai Sub District, Central Maluku Districts, and contributed 98.2%.The research result also showed that mangerial skills of headmaster and school climate simultaneously have a positive influence and significant effect on tecahers performance at Public High School in Amahai Sub-District, Central Maluku Districs, and contributed 98.3%. Therefore it can be said that the improvement of managerial skills of headmaster and school climate both partially and simultaneously will enhance teachersperformance at Public High Schools in Amahai Sub-District, Central Maluku Districs. Based on this research, it is suggested to headmaster so that the future will remain focused to maintain the existing teacher performance level.
