NATIONAL TEACHERS MONTH CAMPAIGN

(UCPB- CIIF Foundation Scholars Narrative Report)

INTRODUCTION

Celebrating teacher's month happens every year, and we as a students we are very
proud to our teachers. Conducting National Teachers Month Campaign is one of our ways to say
thank you to all teachers that dedicate their lives for teaching all of us. They may be our second
parents in our second home. They may be our superhero when we're in trouble and they may
be our saviors of our future. That's why we all need to be thankful to them and because of this
Teacher's Month we have the perfect timing to express our love and thanks to them.

OBJECTIVES

1. To give thanks to all our teachers.

2. To be a way for some students who wants to give their thank you messages to their teachers
who really inspire them.

3. To give happines to our teachers.

*but in some cases we didnt make it to have the Native Fan for teachers, because of lack of
budget due to those scholars who didnt pay yet the contributions for the campaign.

DISCUSSION
 As we celebrate the National Teachers Month on September 5 to October 5 this year,
the UCPB-CIIF scholars in cooperation with the UCPB-CIIF Foundation commend our education
advocates at the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture - Main Campus by conducting A
National Teachers Month Campaign.

During the campaign, we conducted activities viz creating posters and affixing it to the
bulletin boards of every department,leading a prayer for the teachers in every class, sharing a
video presentation, making mailbox and wish listsand granting their requests.

On the first day of the campaign, September 6, the scholars posted the posters in the
bulletin board throughout the campus. Life is indeed so short to thank the people who made us
feel and become better than we have been before. So if we had a chance to thank and
acknowledge them, lets take those chances. And this National Teachers Month is therefore the
chance.

September 20, the scholars implemented the mailbox and wish list campaign. Through
simple notes written on the small colored papers, the students thanked the teachers and
expressed their gratitude for our education advocates. Being a teacher requires a lot of patience
and hard work, and through these simple activities, we are hopeful that our beloved teachers
would be pleased. Happiness creates a ripple effect on everyone that a simple smile coming
from our teachers made us smile too.

September 27, during noon time the scholars granted the teachers requests such as ball
pen, chocolates, phone bling. Those simple stuffs served as a token of gratitude for them. The
messages were also distributed to corresponding teachers. That day was indeed satisfying after
seeing our beloved and most admired teachers happy.

Being a teacher is one of the most important professions in our society because through our
teachers, the other different professions are created. They are behind every students success
in life and careers. So while we are still alive and able, let us reflect on how we can make this
life meaningful for ourselves and efficient to others. And we would like to extend our deepest
gratitude to the UCPB-CIIF foundation and our co-scholars for letting us experience this kind of
activities.
