Between October 10-11, 2017 633 registered South Carolina voters who consider
themselves likely to vote in the 2018 election for Governor were surveyed. The margin of
error is +/- 4%.
Favorable (57.2%)
Unfavorable (35.1)
Undecided (7.7%)
Question Two: Recently some Republican candidates have announced that they will
seek their partys nomination for Governor next year. Kevin Bryant, Yancey McGill,
Henry McMaster and Catherine Templeton have all filed paperwork to begin
campaigning for Governor.
If the election were held today between those choices, which would you probably vote

Question Three: Generally speaking would you be in favor of allowing casino gambling
in certain specific areas of South Carolina?
Generally in favor of allowing casinos to operate in certain areas of the state (40.3%)
