Ss will sing warm-ups in cannon with the accompaniment if the song combine with some of the
melodies. T will upload songs to google classrooms that have similar musical elements with St.
Nick at Night. (Pachelbels Canon, Old Saint Nick, and this compilation

Present
Ss sight reading Treble I line on solfege with melody and bass accompaniment. Tas and Tis
independently and then as a group. Have solfege and notes measure by measure. ONce the
whole melody is solid sing through enter song with sight reading descant optional.
Personalize
Have Ss identify the important phrases and target words. Once theyve had a chance to
think-pair-share conduct as a group in cut time. Then have Ss come up and be the teacher
conducting the whole choir, their movements should give the choir an idea of what the target
phrases and words are.
