Educational
Work History:
July 2017- Present Superintendent Morrisonville Community Unit School District No. 1.
Lead and supervise the administrative team, including principals and
central office personnel, on curriculum, technology, budget, special
education, facilities, transportation, legislative and human resources
issues. Collaborate with all stakeholders to create a culture of learning.
Collaborate with school board leadership to develop monthly board
meeting and executive session agendas. Collaborate with the Board,
administration and staff to plan fiscally responsible annual budgets to
support growth in student achievement.
July-August 2011 Interim SuperintendentParis Union School District No. 95. Served
as the Boards chief executive officer while it searched for a part-time
superintendent to serve while consolidation is considered. Prepared
2012 fiscal budget, prepared information for and conducted two
regular Board meetings as well performed the related job
responsibilities.
2001-2009 Principal--Paris High School. Accountable for all principal related job
responsibilities for a 600 student high school. Managed all aspects of
the comprehensive high school program as well as student activities.
1999-2001 PrincipalVance and Redmon Elementary Schools. Accountable for
all principal related job responsibilities for two 150 student
intermediate grades three through five schools for Paris Union School
District No. 95.
1989-1998 Paris High School Social Studies Teacher. Taught U.S History, World
History, European History, Contemporary Problems and Psychology.
Head girls varsity softball coach, head boys varsity baseball coach,
assistant boys basketball coach, and assistant track coach.

Experiences
2011-2015 Supervised the day to day construction activities of a $40 million dollar
new campus. Was involved in design, bidding, state reporting, and
construction oversight and made regular reports for the Board of
Education.
2011 Paris Union School District No. 95 and Paris Community Unit District
both passed successful building referendums to build a new high school
for the Paris community. Member of the Yes to PCHS referendum
committee.
2010 & 2015 Lead spokesperson for the PCHS Board of Education during contract
negotiations. Board and association of teachers agreed to a three year
contract
1998-2010 Prepared and presented the levy for Paris Union School District No. 95.
to the Board of Education.
2004-2009 Prepared and filed the Paris Union School No. 95 E-rate application
2005-2009 Headed the Paris Union School District No. 95 Technology Committee.
Authored the Districts technology plan.
1996-1997 Designed and maintained the Paris Union School District #95 Internet

Achievements &
Recognitions
2011 Secured a grant though ISBE and the University of Illinois to
implement the Illinois Career Clusters and career paths construct at
Paris Cooperative High School. PCHS is one of two schools selected
statewide to participate in the grant.
2009 Was asked to author a passage for the book Leading 21st Century
Schools, by Lynne Shrum, professor and director of teacher education
in the College of Education and Human Development at George Mason
University. My passage on modeling the use of technology appears on
page nine.
2007 Authored Paris High Schools successful grant application to join the
Illinois High Schools that Work Network. Participation in the network
has brought various innovations to the school as well many staff
development opportunities. Grant awarded $80,000 to the school.
2001 State Superintendent Max McGee sent Redmon and Vance schools a
congratulatory letter for the increased ISAT scores and achievement of
its low- income students.
