My Fellow Hounds:
As part of our 75th anniversary celebration we have produced A History of The Hounds of the
Baskerville (sic) 1943 2017 that will make its debut at our October 6th meeting. This publication
includes the late John Nieminskis original work covering the first 40-years of Hounds history and a
35-year update by Master Hound and author, Donald J. Terras. The book also includes a Good Old
Index by Jon Lellenberg and a transcribed lecture by the late Master Hound, Robert J. Mangler ,
On Vincent Starrett, The Hounds, The BSI, and Sherlockian Chicago.
This 142-page hard cover publication is 8.5 X 11 and is illustrated with over fifty black and white
photographs and graphics that complement the text in relating the 75-year history of this esteemed
Sherlockian society. Limited to a 125-copy print run, each book bears a number that was hand print-
ed in calligraphy by Ms. April Wilson.
The cost for this publication is 32.00 per book. You can reserve your copy for pickup at the Hounds
dinner meeting or have it shipped to your address via USPS after the Hounds meeting.
