you will not be eligible for second round of seat allotment.

This offer of admission is provisional and will be confirmed only after you comply with the eligibility requirements
mentioned in the Information Brochure as well as in the Counselling Brochure of JEE-2010.

In all correspondence with the Institute, you must quote your Registration Number, All India Rank and Category in
JEE-2010.

 IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

1.In the JEE websites you will be helped to exercise your option On-line for participating in the “Second Allotment”.
In the second allotment you may get either a course of higher priority as per your choice sheet or the same as what
you have got in the first allotment.

2.To complete the Acceptance Letter, you will have to choose “On-line” one of the following options:
Option 1: I do not want to participate in the second allotment as I am satisfied with the course allotted to
me in the first allotment itself;
Option 2: I may be considered for second allotment to any other course in my choice sheet in order of
priority only at the same institute where I have got my first allotment. I understand that if I am allotted
a seat of higher preference as per my choice sheet through second allotment, my seat through first allotment
stands cancelled.
Option 3: I may be considered for second allotment for any course in my choice sheet in order of priority
across any of the institutes. I understand that if I am allotted a seat of higher preference as per my choice
sheet through second allotment, my seat through first allotment stands cancelled.

3.Take a print out of the “Acceptance Letter” after registering your option.

4.Choose any institute from the list below to visit in person for submitting the “Acceptance Letter”. It need not be
the institute where you have been allotted a course.

5.Get a Demand Draft(DD) in favour of the “Chairman JEE, IIT Madras” (Rs.20,000 for SC/ST candidates and
Rs.40,000 for others) payable at Chennai. Make sure to write your registration no. and name on the reverse side
of the DD.

6.Complete the printed Acceptance Letter appropriately with the details of the DD.

7.Take a photocopy of the letter. Both the original print-out and the photocopy will be signed by you and your
parent/guardian.

8.Submit these two copies of Acceptance Letter along with the DD to JEE / Admission office in the institutes
mentioned above during 9th to 12th July 2010 from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

9.If you do not have access to computer and internet, you can avail such facilities at any one of the above institutes
during 9th to 12th July 2010 from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. However, your parent/guardian should accompany you to
sign the acceptance form.

10.Show your original Admit Card of JEE-2010 and this offer letter while submitting the above for identity verification.
