Today
we
were
grouped
with
three
students
named
Kyan,
Asmara
and
Leyla.
Although,
two
students
were
away.
Our
objections
of
todays
lesson
was
to
get
to
know
the
students
and
identify
what
sports
the
students
liked
and
what
their
strengths
and
weaknesses
are.
The
first
activity
focused
on
their
kicking
ability.
Students
were
required
to
a
kick
a
stationary
ball
to
their
partner
who
were
5-10
metres
away.
It
is
evident
that
Kyan,
Asmara
and
Leyla
are
still
developing
their
fundamental
skills,
as
they
individually
encountered
challenges
throughout
each
activity.
Firstly,
during
the
kicking
component
not
all
students
were
able
to
perform
a
kick
correctly
based
on
the
Performance
Criteria.
All
three
students
kicked
the
ball
with
their
toes
rather
than
the
top
of
the
foot.
However,
there
was
slight
improvement
from
each
student
as
time
progressed.
For
example,
Asmara
was
able
to
step
forward
with
her
non-kicking
foot
placed
near
the
ball
whilst
her
kicking
leg
follows
through
towards
the
target
after
ball
contact.
Based
on
the
first
observation,
it
is
clear
that
Asmara
has
more
experience
with
sports
compared
to
Kyan
and
Leyla.
Our
final
skill
component
was
ball
bounce.
Each
student
demonstrated
a
good
technique
whilst
bouncing
the
ball.
They
ensured
their
eyes
were
focused
throughout
the
bounce,
hips
and
knees
slightly
arched
during
the
bounce
and
ensuring
the
ball
bounces
in
front
of
and
to
the
side
of
their
body.
However,
they
all
experienced
difficulties
whilst
running
with
the
ball.
Students
often
lost
control
of
the
ball
and
often
did
not
possess
the
correct
performance
technique.
As
two
students
were
away
for
the
first
week,
our
objectives
for
next
week
is
continue
to
assess
their
fundamental
motor
skill.
We
are
primarily
focusing
on
catching;
throwing
and
jumping
to
give
us
a
greater
indication
at
the
level
they
are
at.
Space
Walk
Students
create
their
own
journey

into
hoops.
Each
landing
must
be
with
only
1
foot.
10
minutes
Variations
The
teacher
may
10-15
cones
want
to
indicate
to
students
what
directions
to
leap.
For
example,
left
or
right,
backwards
or
forwards.

of
the
circle.
The
student
in
the
middle
needs
to
overarm
throw
the
ball
to
each
student.
Each
student
will
be
given
the
opportunity
to
5-10
Minutes
go
in
the
middle.
Alternatively,
the
teacher
may
decide
to
get
the
students
to
bounce
the
ball
to
each
student
instead
of
throwing.

Bouncing:
Zigzag
bouncing:
As
the
name
suggests,
this
activity
involves
cones
to
be
placed
in
a

Students
are
required

with
a

between
them.
Students
are
to
continuously
pass
the

in
the
