Swirl-free foam wont twist Material in dimensionally stable

NORSEAL V710 is a medium density foam that wont distort or twist when Easy to die-cut
mechanical fasteners are inserted. The special foam substrate of NORSEAL
gives it this swirl free property, allowing it to resist tearing and distortion Paper liner eliminates stretching
from drilling, riveting and other fastening operations. This is a superior during installation and makes
advantage because non-swirl-free foam can actually tear when penetrated
by fasteners such as screws and rivets. material handling quick and simple

Recommended Service - -30F to 200F
For maximum adhesive performance, prepare the contact surface Temperature (-35C to 90C)
by removing dirt, wax, soap and oily films with a cleaning solvent. Minimum Recommended - 60F (15C)
A typical cleaning solvent is 50/50 isopropyl alcohol/water Application Temperature
mixture. It may be necessary to seal and/or prime the contact Temperature Tolerance - 300F (150C)
surface. If added adhesion is desire, we recommend the use of (Short Term)
Tite-R-Bond Adhesion Promoter.

The greater the adhesive-to-surface contact (known as wet-out),

the better the adhesive bond strength. Apply the tape to the first
surface with the liner on, and then firmly rub down. Remove the
liner just prior to bonding surfaces together and apply firm
pressure to ensure full contact.

Bond strength is dependent on the substrate surface, application

temperature and dwell time. When possible, allow 24 hours dwell
time at room temperature before loading.

Normount Acrylic A3300
Product Overview

Clear High Strength

Acrylic Bonding Tapes
Features/Benefits
- Enhanced adhesive for
bonding to low-surface-
energy substrates
- Grey colour
- Gauges from 0.4m to 1.5mm
- High Tack
- Easy release liner

Aggressive Adhesive System

Normount Acrylic A3300 Series incorporates a unique adhesive system Typical Applications
that provides fast adhesive strength build, high ultimate adhesive levels
and long-term performance. Additionally, the A3300 Series is designed to - Bus, truck and trailer skin
bond to a wide range of substrates, including the new low-surface-energy bonding
paint systems. With an all-acrylic construction, Normount Acrylic is
compatible with most plastics and painted surfaces and has excellent
- Body side moulding
weathering properties. - Architectural aftermarket
trims
Viscoelastic Acrylic Core
The acrylic core of the A3300 Series is engineered to absorb the stresses - Exterior Building Cladding
of normal joint movement, providing for enhanced performance. Unlike
mechanical fasteners that concentrate the joint stress in one location,
- Decorative Fascia Attachment
Normount Acrylic will distribute stress throughout the entire bond area.
This results in higher bond strength, especially in joints of high
movement (e.g. truck side panels) and different thermal expansion and
contraction
p (dissimilar substrates).

Features and Benefits

- Excellent initial tack and quick adhesion build for easy application
- Easy release polyethylene liner facilitates liner removal
- Unique foam construction distributes joint stress across bond area
- Specially formulated adhesive system for low-surface-energy
substrates
- Acrylic foam ore incorporates high stress relaxation property to
enhance dynamic bond strength

CHR Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Tapes
Product Overview

Strip-N-Stick Silicone
Rubber

Features/Benefits
Instant Gasket
Easy to apply
Compressible Flexibility
Conforms to irregular shapes
Eliminates die cutting
High Adhesion to Stainless Steel,
Plastics, Aluminium and
Composites
For extreme temperature applications, Strip-N-Stick silicone rubber tapes
outperform all other elastomer tapes in service life, weatherability, compression Low Compression Set
set resistance and electrical resistivity.
Available in Closed-Cell Sponge,
These pressure-sensitive Strip-N-Stick tapes are available in a variety of widths and Low Density Foam or Solid Rubber
thicknesses for use in gasketing, cushioning, thermal insulation and vibration Temperature Ranges SNS Products
dampening applications. Other uses include noise reduction, clamping of hot parts with:
and electrolysis reduction between dissimilar metals.
Acrylic Adhesives
Strip-N-Stick tapes, which provide all the benefits of silicone rubber in an easy-to- -20F (-29C) to 350F (177C)
apply, pressure sensitive tape form, are available in standard stock widths or can
be slit to order. Silicone Adhesive

100S is a silicone sponge with a high temperature silicone adhesive -100F (-73C) to 500F (260C)
200A is a silicone sponge with an aggressive acrylic adhesive
300AR is a reinforced silicone sponge with an aggressive acrylic adhesive. Its
unique construction provides the compressibility of sponge and the
dimensional
p stability of fibreglass reinforcement. Stretch is eliminated, which
contributes to the consistent size and shape of cut parts and inhibits outward
extrusion under high pressure. It further permits close tolerance slitting
400S combines a 30 durometer solid rubber with a high temperature silicone
adhesive
440A combines a 30 durometer solid rubber with an acrylic adhesive. It
provides for high elongation and good conformability, and is an excellent
gasketing material
512AF uses F-12 fire blocking foam along with a film-supported acrylic
pressure-sensitive adhesive
