Cooperative Profile

Nutriwealth Multi-Purpose Cooperative is a duly registered under the Republic Act

No. 9520 at the Cooperative Development Authority. It is a seven year operational institution

with a 15 founding members who shared P 1,000.00 each for their share capital to start the

business. On 2010, it was originally known as Nutriwealth Producers Cooperative and it was

fully registered at the year 2011. In the year 2013, they amended it to the CDA and were known

as the Nutriwealth Multi-Purpose Cooperative. And it is known as one of the fastest growing

cooperative here in the Philippines. It focuses on manufacturing products and provides other

services and projects to its members. It also centered on providing its members a savings and

investments program. Nutriwealth main revenue flows from the marketing of the products by the

members, from the services provided by the cooperative as well as with the different projects that

are developed and implemented by the members. Otherwise, theyve decided to implement a

laundry shop that is originated from their business which is Aqualine (water refilling station). A

water refilling station may be viable in the location however a lot of competitors are already

operating inside the community so the Nutriwealth Cooperative though a different business

where in the target audience could focus their attention into and the excess water of Aqualine

will use; and that is a laundry shop. This kind of business does not require much effort for the

customers and the business owners/ members as well.

REVENUE

The Table 6 shows the estimated kilogram of laundry per week, the rate per kilo, and also

how many sales per year. At the table, the year 2018 the projected sale for the first year of the

laundry shop. As you can see the changes on the consecutive years the projected sales increases
at 1.3% and 1.5% it may cause in Cost-Push Inflation which is caused when laundry shop costs

of production go up. When this happens, they need to increase prices to maintain their profit

margins. Increased costs can include things such as wages, taxes, or increased costs of natural

resources or imports. For us, to increase sales we maintain brand and price integrity. Laundry

Shop sometimes experience fluctuating revenue because they routinely offer price discounts or

use inconsistent pricing strategies. When you effectively build a strong cooperative brand

reputation, you can leverage that strength to convey value in your promotional messaging.

Steady, consistent branding and consistent pricing helps you get maximum revenue on the sale of

each good or service. Value or high-end providers often have an advantage in driving consistent

revenue increases, as long as they continue to offer effective solutions

THE MARKET MIX

satisfaction by rendering a reliable and furnishing a clean, enjoyable atmosphere at a competitive

price value relationship. It offers services like; washing, drying, flat iron, dry clean, folding, and

it also render products used for laundry to avail of the members/customers.

SERVICES

The Laundry Shop will provide the following services:

Wash-Dry-Fold- means that we will wash, dry, hang or fold your laundry per your
request. This service includes your personal laundry, household items like comforters,
rugs, and dog beds, or even miscellaneous, hard-to-wash items like boat covers
Wash Dry Press (w/ hanger) - It means we will wash, dry and press fabrics, garments

and other household items with hanger per customers request.

Wash Dry Press (w/o hanger) - Wash, dry, and press laundry per customers request.

Wash Dry Fold (hand wash) - Fabrics and garments that only requires hand wash, dry

and fold included per customers request.

Wash Dry Press (hand wash) - Fabrics and garments that only requires hand wash,

dry, and press included per customers request.

PRICE

Our observation with our competitors, their prices are quite too high that is why

we used leadership cost. We came up with the following price which in not too high for clients

still comply with the expenses. Term of payment is in cash basis only. Under LIFO (last-in, first

out), the latest/higher costs will flow quickly to the cost of goods sold, and the older/lower costs

will remain in inventory. If a laundry shop can increase its selling prices by the amount of the

cost increases, the gross profit (sales minus the cost of goods sold), net income, taxable income,

income taxes, and inventory will remain nearly the same.
