Use a before a consonant sound.

Use an before a vowel sound.

Examples:

3. Its an interesting country.

II.2.3 Pronouns

A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun.

Examples:

1. Maria is a nice person. She is a nice person.

2. Carlos is an intelligent student. He is an intelligent student.
3. Cesar and Pedro are friends. They are friends.
4. Karla and I are doctors. We are doctors.
5. The book is interesting. It is interesting.
