A Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment Revising the Text of the Proposed Marshall Gateway (M-G) Zoning
District to Incorporate Automotive Sales and Service by Special Exception
Topic Description:
The 5th Draft of the Marshall Code, as presented at the Board of Supervisors' public hearing on
September 14, 2017, does not allow Automotive Sales and Service in the proposed Marshall Gateway (M-
G) Zoning District. This public hearing is to obtain citizen input on inclusion of Automotive Sales and
Service as a use allowed by Special Exception approval, subject to standards, in the proposed Marshall
Gateway (M-G) Zoning District.
Requested Action:
Conduct the Public Hearing and consider adoption of the attached Ordinance.
