Last February 23-25, 2015 we had our Educational Tour.

Camp Vicente

Lim was our first destination. Camp Vicente Lim is located in Calamba Laguna.

We lecture about fingerprints and explore the whole camp. Our next destination

was Gardenia, Gardenias plant is located in Laguna International Industrial Park

(LIIP), Mamplasan, Binan, Laguna. As our group reach the plant, we were

welcomed by with smiles from the employees of Gardenia. In a special

audiovisual room, we got to watch a video of the entire production process, after

which the marketing manager also talked about how the finished breads are

distributed throughout the country. I've got a chance to visit the plant and it was

a very great experience to witness such kind of huge bread machineries that we

always see on other countries. I was very happy to have seen the making of

breads of Gardenia. I am comforted, seeing how they made the bread. We ate

our lunch at the D Banquet Bakeshop and Restaurant in Tagaytay City. D

Banquet is a really, really great find. The ambience was relaxing, the service was

good and the food was delicious.

We headed to Tagaytay Rehabilitation Center with tummies happy.

Tagaytay Rehabilitation Center is a facility for people who can seek help,

counseling or rehabilitation in cases of substance abuse and drug addiction.

Substance abuse, like any addiction, would need an addiction

treatment program. Resisting drugs is not an easy task for a drug addict

because, when not done gradually, the cravings only become greater and the

health of the drug user may be compromised. After we go to Tagaytay Rehab,

we go to Quezon Province.
Batis Aramin is a nature park hotel and resort located at the foot of Mt.

Banahaw in Lucban, Quezon. Batis Aramin is the place where we stayed there

for 2 nights. We do some outdoor activities like camping, zip lining, wall climbing,

rappelling, and so much more. Facilitators are also standing by to ensure the

safety of us. Batis Aramin has its swimming pools. The pools are large enough.

They have quite a number of a different variety of plants, trees and flowers.

Our last destination in our Educational Tour is the Kamay ni Hesus.

Kamay ni Hesus is a popular destination for Catholic devotees and it's only a

short walk from Batis Aramin Resort. One of the highlight in Kamay ni Hesus is

climbing the 300++ steps going on top of the hill where a 50-feet tall statue of

Christ lies. The statue is known as the third biggest in the world that can be seen

miles away. I feel glorified and blessed as I reached and stood on top. Seeing the

statue of Christ in full size along with the astounding scenery while on top is

really breathtaking. I felt like "He" was just right beside me that time. Maybe, I

can say that I felt I was in heaven during my stay on top of that hill. It was

spiritually refreshing. After some picture taking and bonding on top of the hill, we

decided to bid farewell to this place. But before we went back down, again, we

offered a prayer.
