Q1. Suddenly you are promoted to replace your manager. He / She is not available for any
consultation whatsoever. Describe the situation at work. Describe in detail your initial views
of how you expect to manage the group. Be as thorough as possible at this time!

Ans: First of all, I would like to make check list for making the thing we need to do them first and try to
develop some strategies according to the work.

Now I am going to define what is the purpose of the manager in the organization:

The people responsible for supervising the use of an organizations resources to meet its goals

The hierarchy of the organization and the relationship of the jobs and responsibilities, is from top to bottom
that varies in their roles and responsibilities. It is critical for the manager to work according to the roles and
responsibilities assigned to him for achieving the objectives of the company.
The manager is held responsible to front line employees for guidance, motivation and support.

As a manager, I am assigned with following task:

To supervise of non-managerial employees
Planning and goal setting for long term
Monitoring and controlling expenses
Resolving conflict by communications

To complete these tasks, I would develop some strategies in order to pursue these tasks smoothly and
efficiently. I will manage the group in following ways:
Inspire people
Resolving any kind of conflicts
Make people feel motivated in achieving organizational goals
Representative for non-managerial employees
Make sure each of the employee knows better about what is expected

I will assign tasks that will bounce my employees to feel motivated in achieving their goals in order to
achieve the overall goals of the organizations.

Q2. Describe what motivates you in your professional life and personal life.

Ans: Motivations come in all shapes and size and is limited only by your imagination. Motivation is driven
by personality, skills, expectation, ambition, gender, age, needs, wants, and desires.

In my professional life, I am motivated by the opportunity to get promoted as fast as possible and as high
as possible because I love power and money. Secondly, I am motivated in advancing my career. I am also
motivated by meeting set targets within deadlines, as it gives me a sense of accomplishment and it is
something that I can look back on and say; I achieved that.

In my personal life, I am motivated by my teachers, my parents, my friends, and by myself. My teachers

played a vital role in motivating me for achieving my future goals.

In 5 years: I am struggling in achieving my goals currently I have started working marketing manager for
my company named Marjan foods. Currently, 15 employees are working under my company in coming 5
years, I want to see my company growing and making a well strategy for it in order to fulfill the desired
goals. My goal is to enhance the size and space of the company.

In 10 years: I will continue struggling to make my company a multinational company by providing better
foods for my customer.

In 20 years: Life is too short for fulling our every desired. I want to make my company stable and growing.
