1 Isolate the incoming source and apply LOTO.
2 Make sure that supply is not available at the i/p terminal of the equipment

3 Provide cap for all the Fire detectors inside the UPS room before cleaning work is carried out.

4 Check genral cleanliness and wipe clean the panel surface if necessary.
5 Check and ensure all the cooling fans for UPS are working
6 Check all the batteries connection tightness.
7 Visually inspect batteries for cracks, leaks or corrosion.
8 Check and ensure the double earthing of UPS, Battery rack and Distribution panel
9 Clean the switchboard surface to remove debris and dust.

10 Check lighting, sockets, emergency lighting of the UPS room

11 Check and re-tighten any lose bolts and nuts in proper sequence.

Check and Record the batteries individual Voltage and total voltage (Note: Switch off the incomer supply to UPS before taking readings)
