Application: Mixed traffic (passengers y merchandises)


Polyvalent gauge (1668 y 1435 mm)
Use Mixed traffic: 22,5 ton/Axel load 220 Kmph
Main line: 17 ton/Axel load 350 Kmph.
Traffic network group number 3 following the 111 y 112 UIC
classification points (80.000 t/d)
Geometry conditions: The IGP 3.1 (2004) recommendations Geometry design parameters
for high speed.
External parameters: minimum radio 500 m, maximal inclination 160
mm, minimal longitudinal inclination 25.
Environmental Rail temperature: +75/-22 C
conditions: Slab temperature increase: 16C
The slab will be adapted to de environmental conditions if needed.
Structure: Precast slab on a concrete base of 20 cm minimum thickness installed in
a tunnel , or on a tunnel foundation or on a embankment with a modulus
Ev2>120 MPa.
Rail fastener fixation stiffness: 40 KN/mm
Design: Precast slab of 5,1x2,5x0,2 m
Fastening spacing 0.65 m
