These are my thought in this matter, China and the Philippines has started a

rough path before the Duterte's administration because of their disputes and
according to the author they have lifted an import ban on banana's which is
largely Philippine product, and the harassment of fisherman in the sight of South
China Sea.
In the administration of Duterte it is clearly predicted that the administration is
mending and bettering its relationship with China although China has loss in the
arbitration, the president has continue its good relationship with China
Although a lot of pinoy has a little trust on this tremendous country, because of
the past bullying, I am neutral with the administration decision, but the President
must be careful in engaging with the decision hes been acquiring and with the
word that comes from his mouth and must not forget the history of the China-
Philippine Relation.
The Bilateral relationship of China and Philippines is more effective than the past
multilateral as there are no conflict and it has mutual decision without the
influence of other country.
The administration is strengthening its diplomatic relationship not just with China
but within its Asian Countries.
I truly believe that it is not a coward act to mend relationship with a non- ally
country but its one of its step to build a better nation and good economic
relation with our Asian neighbor. The Administration shall be committed in
bringing back its active and stable cooperation with the Philippines without its
threat in national sovereignty

The article talked about the relationship of Philippines and China. The China
and The Philippines relationship wasnt perfect in the past year, in the height of
its tension with its disputes, the Scarborough shoal and Spratlys. But right after
Dutertes inauguration it has mending its relationship with Russia and China the
two major elite of Asian countries. The administration has used the bilateral
approach toward its relationship with China. With the little trust of our
countrymen with China, the author suggest the Duterte mustnt utter words that
will affect and attract media, especially with the rampant fake social media
accounts that is widely access.
He highlight the 3 key component in the administration strategic
engagement. First, the President has called on the Chinese to treat [Filipinos] [as]
your brothers and not enemies, for the prevention of the possible backlash of
China with its predecessors statements. Second was its bilateral approach,
including just the both country talks. Thirdly, the administration need to
cooperate with China with other relevant issue.
I am neutral with the Sino-Philippine relationship, I cannot forget how
harassing and bully they can be in acquiring the rights in our own rightful
territory, but I am open with the administrations friendly talks with China, for I
believe it isnt a coward act to mend ties with Ally for the betterment of the
Philippines status.
International relation, I believe is a great strategy in being a competent
state, and having a strong ties with our Asian neighbor will help not just our State
itself but Asia as a whole, but it doent mean that we will abandon our ties with
other countries especially with the US, it has helped the country in past issues and
has important role in our growth as a country, the administration must be careful
but then limit their intervention within our internal affairs especially if it will
affect the Philippines national sovereignty.
International policy/law is greatly recommended, rules in territory must be
defended. Policy with regard to both participants that will agree on both
advantages and fairly distributed.
