CAASPP Data Overview
The California School Dashboard will not be updated with current CAASPP results until December,2017. Dashboard data available now only
reflects information through the 2015-2016 school year.
Score comparisons from the baseline in 2015 to the current year, 2017:
o 70% of our districts improved their ELA scores an average of 9.5 points.
(range of improvement 2 to 18 points)
o 80% of our districts improved their math scores an average of 5.6 points.
(range of improvement 1 to 13 points)
o 77% of our schools improved their ELA scores an average of 11.2 points. (Ghidotti held at 100%)
(range of improvement 1 to 43 points)
o 63% of our schools improved their math scores an average of 8 points.
(range of improvement 1 to 31 points)
For our schools not demonstrating growth between the 2016-2017 years:
o 8 out of 13 of those maintain improvement over their 2015 baseline scores in ELA.
o 5 out of 12 of those maintain improvement over their 2015 baseline scores in math.
Score comparisons from the baseline in 2015 to the current year, 2017:
o 76% of our district schools improved their ELA scores an average of 12 points. (Ghidotti held at 100%)

o 56% of our district schools improved their math scores an average of 10 points.
(range of improvement 1 to 31 points)
Score comparisons from the baseline in 2015 to the current year, 2017:
o 71% of our charter schools improved their ELA scores an average of 8 points.
(range of improvement 2 to 19 points)
o 57% of our charter schools improved their math scores an average of 7.8 points.
