He is a 1st year student in a reputed law school in India. He is from a well educated family
whose members are active in social service. Being a citizen of the Great nation India the
petitioner has never failed to contribute for Social service activities. He will whole heartedly
dedicate his life for the well being of the great nation India.
The petitioner humbly submits that he is under mental depression after knowing that the
Honourable High Court of Mumbai has granted bail hurriedly for Bollywood Super Star
Salman Khan who was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment by the Sessions Court of Mumbai
in the 13 year old Hit and Run case in which he ran over five people with his car, killing one
Salman Khan had run over a group of people who were sleeping in front of a suburban
bakery on the pavement on 28th September, 2002. He had allegedly rammed his Toyota Land
Cruiser into American Express Bakery on Hill Road junction in Bandra. He was charged of
homicide, but later dropped. On 24th July 2013, he was formally charged with culpable
homicide again. On 6th May 2015, Salman Khan was found guilty of all charges in the case.
The Honourable Sessions Court of Mumbai concluded that Salman was under the influence
of alcohol causing the death of one and serious injury to four others. The Sessions Court
judge DW Deshpande convicted the actor for homicide not amounting to murder and
on 8th May the Honourable High Court of Mumbai suspended his prison sentence. Moreover
Salman Khan's driver was arrested and the death of Police Constable Ravindhra Patil remains
a mystery. This makes the people of India doubt the Credibility and Honesty of the Indian
Judiciary System.
Thus the petitioner humbly requests the Honourable Supreme Court of India, the only hope of
the victims to intervene in this issue and cancel Salman Khan's Bail granted by the
Honourable High Court of Mumbai and sentence him to 5 Years in prison as convicted by the
