South African Happenings

Sawbona everyone! We celebrated out 4th year anniversary in
South Africa in September. It's gone by so fast. Thomas has had
more doors open to preach in local churches lately. We hosted a
few families from the UK on short term mission trips. Bible
storying at the primary school and on house visits is going so well.
Almost 15 kids are attending Sunday school now with us. God is
blessing the tutoring project. It is a great time to be a Queen!

Throwback Tuesday
We celebrated our 4 year
anniversary of being on the
mission field in South Africa
on September 25th. How
time flies!...and how Jacob
has GROWN!
Noah's Ark Puppet Show
The Sibong kids loved the finger puppets
that were donated to the ministry. We
used them to tell the story of God's
rescue plan for Noah and his family on the
ark. They got to be a part of the Bible
story skit. All those who memorized their
Scripture verse got to take a puppet home.
This is a BIG deal for these kids because
toys are not in the budget for most
African families. Pray for salvation to
come to each of these precious ones.

Preaching 101
Thomas has gotten the opportunity to preach both in Northdale and at
Hilton Baptist Church recently. It has been great to proclaim the good news
to both young and old. Please pray for the Lord to use each message to
advance His kingdom. Pray for more opportunities for him to preach. He is
also taking a preaching class on line. Pray he absorbs all the information to
become an effective preacher for Christ.
The Browns Family Trip
The Brown family from the UK came on a
short term mission trip to Ethembeni
Ministries. We enjoyed hosting them. The
kids loved their Jesus Calms the Storm
skit. Pray this family goes back to
England on fire for the Lord and tells
everyone of how faithful our God is to us
when we step out to make disciples for
Him.

Reaching All the Children of the World

Please continue to pray for our tutoring effort at Sibongumbomvu. We begin
term 4 now. Pray for each child to learn to read so they can read God's Word
for themselves. Pray for more volunteers so we can reach more kids with the
gospel. We are having up to 15 kids some Sundays attend church at Hilton
Baptist. Pray for a new children's director to be hired soon at Hilton. Pray
for the Sunday school teachers as they face many challenges while teaching
these young ones since Zulu (not English) is their heart language.
