A QUICK OVERVIEW OF SIMPLE, EFECTIVE TECHNIQUES IN CREATIVE VISUALIZATION
1. Create your own workbook or binder.

2. Create sections accordingly.

3. If you like, use special pens, your magic pen to make your dreams come true.
Use colored pens, pencils, and crayons as well as watercolors and brushes to draw with or create treasure
maps.
4. Collect magazines to make collages for treasure maps. Dont over-think. Cut words and photos that get to you!

5. Dont take yourself too seriously! If it doesnt become fun and engaging anymore, set it aside.

6. Sometimes, when youve set your workbook aside and you return to it (in a few months, in a few years), youd be
surprised to find out that some of these dreams have manifested into reality.

ARE YOU READY?

CREATIVE VISUALIZATION:
THE BASIC PROCESS

To imagine as clearly and

realistically as possible Imagine your desired goal as
WHAT YOU WANT TO HAPPEN
if it were already true.

AS IF IT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED

Incorporate creative
OR IS ALREADY HAPPENING visualization as part of your
natural way of thinking and
living, moment by moment.

YOUR PERCEPTION
BECOMES YOUR REALITY.
THE MOST BASIC CREATIVE VISUALIZATION TECHNIQUE IN FOUR STEPS:

1. Pick a GOAL Something that you desire to be, do, or have

Ex. I would like to be more healthy.

1. Make an AFFIRMATION out of it State it in a simple sentence. Use the present tense, as if it were
already true.
Ex. I am a healthy person.

1. Picture your goal as if it were already true Close your eyes and imagine (or pretend) what things
would be like if it were true.

2. Consciously turn your goal over to your higher self, or to the higher power of God or the Universe,
and let go of it.
Dont try to make it happen.
Relax and let the higher force go to work within you to create it.
Go on with your daily life with one exception: Follow your intuition and your impulses.
Follow the signs and signals.
Be open to change and growth.
SOME FAVORITE CREATIVE VISUALIZATION TECHNIQUES

PINK BUBBLE TECHNIQUE (a meditation process)

This combines the FOUR STEPS.

1. Sit or lie down comfortably, close your eyes, and deep breathly, slowly and naturally until you feel more relaxed.
You can breathe in through your nose, breathe out through your nose.
2. Imagine what you would like to manifest as if it has already happened. Picture it, or feel it, or sense it.
3. In your minds eye, surround your fantasy with a pink bubble.
4. Put your goal inside your bubble. Pink is the color associated with your heart. If this color vibration surrounds
whatever you visualize, it will bring to you only that which is in perfect alignment with your being.
5. Let go of the bubble, and let it float into the universe, still containing your vision. This symbolizes your letting
go emotionally of it, turning it over to the higher power or God or the Universe to bring it to you.

You can do it once or regularly.

Do it every morning when you wake up and every evening before you go to sleep.

WRITING AFFIRMATIONS (A writing process)

Choose one of your affirmations that you want to work with.

Write down the affirmation in the first person, second person, and third person. (10-20 times each)
Think about the meaning of the words as you write them.
Notice whether you feel any resistance, doubts, or negative thoughts about what you are writing.
Whenever you do (even slightly), turn the paper over, and on the back write out the negative thought,
the reason why the affirmation cant be true, cant work, etc. Example: Im too old! or Im not good
enough.
Then go back to writing the affirmation.
When you have finished, take a look at the back of the paper. If you have been honest, you will have a
good look at the reasons why you are keeping yourself from having what you want in this particular
case.
Write affirmations that will help you counteract or clear these negative fears or beliefs, and begin to
write out these new affirmations.
OR stick to your original affirmation if it seems effective, or modify it slightly to be more accurate.
Keep working with writing the affirmations once or twice a day for a few days.
Once you feel that youve really looked at your negative programming, discontinue writing our negative
thoughts, and keep writing just the affirmations.
Write your affirmation 10 times to 20 times in succession. (If you had taken cursive handwriting class, this is the
same process.)

1. Use your name.

2. Write your affirmation in the first person. (10-20 times)
3. Write your affirmation in the second person. (10-20 times)
4. Write your affirmation in the third person. (10-20 times)
5. Use the PRESENT TENSE.

EXAMPLE:

I, Marie, have now finished constructing my live-work building in Phoenix.

Marie, you have now finished constructing your live-work building in Phoenix.
Marie has now finished constructing her live-work building in Phoenix.
SOME FAVORITE CREATIVE VISUALIZATION TECHNIQUES

THE IDEAL SCENE (A writing process)

Think of a goal that is important to you. It can be long-range or short-range goal.

Write down the goal as clearly as possible in one sentence.
Underneath that, write IDEAL SCENE, and proceed to describe the situation exactly as you would like it to be
when your goal is fully realized.
Describe your IDEAL SCENE in the present tense, as if it already exists, in as much detail as you wish.
When you have finished, write at the bottom:
This or something better is now manifesting for me in totally satisfying and harmonious ways,
for the highest good of all concerned.
Add any affirmations you wish, and sign your name.
Sit quietly, relax, visualize your ideal scene at your meditational level of mind, and repeat your affirmations.
Keep your ideal scene in your notebook, in your desk, near your bed, or hang it on your wall.
Read it often and make appropriate changes when necessary.
Bring your IDEAL SCENE to mind during your meditations.

NOTE: Sometimes, when you hide your IDEAL SCENE, or if you dont look at it for a while, when you read it (in the
future), you may have manifested it somehow --- without you consciously putting energy into it at all!
SOME FAVORITE CREATIVE VISUALIZATION TECHNIQUES

THE TREASURE MAP (An Art Process)

A treasure map is an actual, physical picture of your desired reality.

It form an especially clear, sharp image, which can then attract and focus energy into your goal.

It is like having a blueprint for a building.

How to make your Treasure Map:

1. Draw it or paint it. OR

2. Make a collage using pictures and words cut from magazines, books, cards, photographs, lettering, etc. (It will
remind you of scrapbooking.)
WHAT WILL YOUR TREASURE MAP SHOW YOU?

IT WILL SHOW YOU IN YOUR IDEAL SCENE --- WITH YOUR GOAL FULLY REALIZED.

GUIDELINES:

1. Create a treasure map for a SINGLE GOAL or area of your life so that you can include all the elements and
keeping it simple. Examples: A treasure map for your relationships, a treasure map for your job, etc.

2. Make your treasure map in any size that works for you.
Examples:
You might want to hang it up on your wall.
You might want to carry it in your purse, folded up like an accordion.

3. Put yourself in the picture.

Use a photo of yourself or draw yourself in.
Ex. Show yourself being, doing, or having your desired objective.

4. Show the situation in its ideal, completed form, as if it already exists. You do not indicate how it is going to
come about. This is THE FINISHED PRODUCT.
5. Use lots of color in your treasure map to increase its power and impact on your consciousness.

6. Show yourself in a real setting. Make it look believable to yourself.

7. Include some symbol of the infinite (or spiritual) that has meaning and power for you. This could be a cross, a
Buddha, a sun radiating light, or anything that represents universal intelligence or God.
This is an acknowledgment and a reminder that everything comes from the infinite source.

8. Include affirmations on your treasure map.

Here I am in my new 5-bedroom house by a beach. I love it and I have plenty of money to maintain it!

9. Include the cosmic affirmation: This or something better now manifests for me in totally satisfying and
harmonious ways, for the highest good of all concerned.

AFTER YOUR FINISH YOUR TREASURE MAP:

Spend a few minutes every day quietly looking at it.

Every once in a while, during the day, give it a thought.

Thats it! The treasure map is a powerful step toward achieving your goal!
ITS TIME TO PRACTICE!

1. PICK A GOAL.

For the first one, choose something that is important to you, something more or less realistic and believable, and
that you feel positive about.

WRITE YOUR GOAL IN A SIMPLE, SPECIFIC SENTENCE.

My goal is __________________________________________________________________________

___________________________________________________________________________________.
2. STATE YOUR GOAL AS AN AFFIRMATION by writing it as a sentence in the present tense, as if it were already true.

Use phrases such as:

I now have
I am now doing

MY AFFIRMATION:

____________________________________________________________________________________________

____________________________________________________________________________________________.

Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, and relax your mind and body.
Say your affirmation to yourself a few times and imagine that it is now true.
See how it feels to have your desire come true.
Imagine putting it into a pink bubble, tossing the bubble into the air, and letting go of it.
Consciously affirm: I am turning this over to the higher intelligenceof the universe within me, to guide me in
creating it.
Repeat this cosmic affirmation: This or something better is now manifesting for me in totally satisfying and
harmonious ways, for the highest good of all concerned.
WRITE YOUR AFFIRMATION 10-20 TIMES in the first person, second person, and third person (example: 10 times in
the first voice). Use additional blank pages if needed.
CLEARING MY NEGATIVE THOUGHTS: As you write your affirmation (10 to 20 times), and a negative thought pops up (ex.
Im not physically fit for this or Im not good enough!), turn the page around and write the negative thought.
SHAKTI GAWAINS LIST OF AFFIRMATIONS:

Next: Write your IDEAL SCENE for this particular goal. Write a few paragraphs describing this goal in as much detail as
possible as if it were already true (in the present tense).

CREATING GOALS

What are GOALS?

Think of goals as signposts pointing you in a certain direction.
They give you a certain focus and your energy to get moving.
The way you get there is up to you. (YOU are the UNKOWN FACTOR)

SOME GUIDELINES FOR GOAL-SETTING:

1. Short-term goals: Be realistic. Create a short step first. Build your confidence.
2. Long-term goals: Be expansive and idealistic. Let your imagination open up and reach for the highest. This will
inspire you.
3. Put your main focus on the ESSENCE of the goal: Dont worry about the details because they might change.
4. Dont be compulsive with your goals. Dont try to MAKE them happen. Hold them lightly, relax, and LET them
happen at their own pace and in their own way. Turn them over to your higher self to create them, and LET GO.
5. Be flexible: Many of your goals might change frequently but the essence in the most important ones remain the
same, and helps guide you closer to your highest purposes.
GOALS PROCESS: Practice this at least once.

Under each category, write a list of three to ten goals that the most important things you would like to accomplish or
create by that time. Write each goal in the form of an affirmation --- that is, write it in a sentence, in the PRESENT
tense, as if it had ALREADY come true.

Instead of saying I WANT TO live in a bigger, more beautiful house, you can word it as I AM NOW living in a big,
beautiful house that I love.

Prepare a sheet of paper (or page of a notebook) for each of the categories below.

CATEGORIES:

For next month

For the next six months
For next year
For the next two years
For the next five years (what I would like to have created in five years)
For the next ten years (what I would like to have created in ten years)
My most important goals for my life are
My most important current goals in my life are (once a month or any time you want to revise your priorities)
THE CLEARING PROCESS

Our creative power filters through our beliefs, attitudes, emotions, and habits. The more negative and constricted our
beliefs and patterns are, the more they block, slow, and distort the creative energy.

An important aspect of using creative visualization is the CLEARING PROCESS.

LET GO OF FALSE, CONSTRICTING BELIEFS AND PATTERNS AND REPLACE THEM WITH POSITIVE, SUPPORTIVE ONES.

Clearing has to take place on all levels:

Physical
Emotional
Mental
Spiritual

Some methods of Clearing:

Psychotherapy
Bodywork and massage
Various forms of exercise and breathing

FOLLOW YOUR INTUITIVE FEELINGS ABOUT WHAT WORKS FOR YOU!

BASIC CLEARING PROCESS: Use this when you have a goal or desire that you feel may be blocked

1. State your goal in the form of an affirmation.

2. Write, The reasons I cant have what I want are: and list every thought that comes into your head. List every reason
you can possibly think of.

Example:
GOAL I now have a wonderful job as a ________ nurse that I love at the ____________ Hospital and that pays me
$_____________ a month or more.

The reasons I cant have what I want are:

I dont know what I want to do.
Where will I ever find a job like that? Its too good to be true.
I dont deserve it.
Im afraid to make that much money.

3. Sit for a while and look at your list. Decide which of the negative statements have the most power over you, and make
a mark by those.
Write an affirmation to counteract each one.
Focus on the affirmations that feel most powerful to you, and meditate on them every day for a while, along with your
original goal/affirmation.

CLEARING AFFIRMATION: My higher self is guiding me to my perfect job. I deserve to be successful and make money.
MY GOAL:

THE REASONS I CANT HAVE WHAT I WANT ARE:

CLEARING AFFIRMATIONS:
FORGIVENESS AND RELEASE PROCESSES

A. FORGIVING AND RELEASING OTHERS

Write down the names of everyone in your life whom you feel has ever mistreated you, harmed you, done you an
injustice, or toward whom you feel or have felt resentment, hurt, or anger.

Next to each persons name, write down what they did to you, or what you resent them for.

Close your eyes, relax, and one-by-one, visualize each person.

Have a little chat with each one, and express the anger and hurt that you have felt.
Tell them exactly what they have done to upset you, and what you want from them.

Then, explain to them that now you are going to do your best to forgive them for everything, and to dissolve and
release all constricted energy between you.

Give them a blessing and say, I forgive you and release you. Go your own way and be happy.

When you have finished this process, write across the paper (maybe in a different-colored ink): I now forgive you and
release you all.
THE PEOPLE IN MY LIFE WHO HAVE HURT ME ARE: (Write their names and what they have done to you. Then
complete the exercise.)

When you finish this exercise, you can tear this page out and throw it away as a symbol of letting go, or just write
FORGIVEN AND RELEASED in big letters across the page.
VISUALIZATION: THE BRIDGE

This is used for someone who has deeply hurt

you.

Imagine or visualize a pretty Japanese bridge.

You and the person who has deeply hurt you
are on opposite ends of the bridge.
Both of you walk slowly toward each other.
Both of you reach the middle of the bridge.
This is the time that you talk. The other person,
in your minds eye, listens compassionately and
doesnt say anything.
Talk for as long as you want. Clearly articulate
why you are hurt. If you have to scream within
your visualization, do it!
When you feel that you have finished saying
everything, look at other person.
Both of you turn away from each other --- and
walk toward the end of the bridge and

disappear.

DOES THIS MAKE YOU FEEL MUCH BETTER?

B. FORGIVING AND RELEASING YOURSELF

Write down everyone you can think of in your life whom your feel you have hurt or done an injustice to,
and write down what you did to them.

Close your eyes, relax, and imagine each person in turn.

Tell him or her what you did, and ask them to forgive you and give you their blessing.
Then picture them doing so.

When you have finished: Write at the bottom of your paper (or across the sheet of paper in a different-
colored ink), I forgive myself and absolve myself of all guilt, here and now, and forever!
THE PEOPLE IN MY LIE WHOM I HAVE HURT ARE: (Write their names and what you feel you did, then complete the exercise.)

When you finish this exercise, you can tear this page out and throw it away as a symbol of letting go, or just write FORGIVEN
AND RELEASED in big letters across the page.
POSITIVE ENERGY LISTS

Start by writing down at least a few items for each list.

Every time you use this workbook, start by reading each list and adding another item (or a few more) to each
category.
The purpose of these lists is to help you tune into and appreciate yourself and your life.
This process gets your positive energy flowing, and automatically helps you open up to your creativity.
Other lists, such as recording your dreams, can be used every morning when you wake up, or occasionally, when
you remember a particularly important dream.
SELF-ESTEEM LIST

Make a list of the things you like about yourself, no matter how large or small --- whatever you
consider to be your positive qualities.
The better you feel about yourself and the more you appreciate yourself, the happier and more loving
you will be, the more your creative energy will flow, and the greater contribution you can make to the
world.
Keep adding to the list.

Write down everything that has meaning for you, even if it might not to someone else.
The purpose of this list is to acknowledge yourself and your abilities, which increases your energy for creating and
accomplishing more.
Keep adding to this list all the time with things that you have accomplished successfully each day.

Write down the names of any people you know who need healing or special support or assistance of any sort.
Write down an affirmation (a positive statement in the present tense) describing the desired reality you would like to
help them create.
Every time you look through your notebook, youll be giving them a positive boost of your energy.
What they do with that energy is up to them.
You cant influence or control them, but you can support them in what they feel is best for them.

EXAMPLES:

CREATIVE IDEAS AND THOUGHTS

This is a special are for you to jot down any creative ideas, fantasies, or thoughts that come to you at any time.
These do not need to be complete thoughts and they dont need to make much sense.
This is just a way to record and take a look at little flashes and inspirations that may come from your intuitive
mind.
Dont take the process to seriously, and dont worry if you like you have nothing to write on this page.

EXAMPLE:

10.01.2017 When I reading my Facebook wall today, I viewed a video about successful women entrepreneurs. I
saw myself having a travel agency and travelling with my clients to many exotic destinations on a minimal budget.

11.5.2017 I think Ill start learning how to ride a bike. My parents never encouraged me. No one can stop me now
except myself!

12.15.2017 In my meditation, I saw myself not smoking anymore. This is a good thing! This must be a sign that I
am ready to stop smoking and transform this negative energy into creative works of art, maybe singing lessons. Lets
find out!

RECORDING YOUR DREAMS

Since our dreams are a powerful key to our intuitive mind, it can be fun and meaningful!
Keep a pen and notebook on your nightstand.
Date each page of your notebook.
On todays date, at the bottom of the page, write down what feelings you had during the day. Example:
I was stressed at work today. I am very sad. My patient, John Smith, died. I was happy my son got a
notice that he was accepted at Harvard University.
Before you go to sleep at night, say to yourself, I will wake up and remember clearly at least one
dream.
Just before you actually fall asleep (in the alpha state), if you have a problem and you are looking for a
solution, you can ask a question. Example: I am looking for the right tagline for my event. Help me find
it, please!
Then, if you wake up during the night, or in the morning, immediately check to see if you can
remember any dream or fragment of a dream.
Write it down immediately just below the date, and often more details and understanding will come as
you do so.
Write down what you think the dream may mean, what your intuitive mind may be trying to
communicate to you.
