INTRODUCTION
The importance of coffee in the Colombian economy is undeniable, this
has greatly helped industry, employment and development for the
country's producing regions.

As a result of the globalization process that has been developing in a


progressive and sustained manner, the opening conditions of world
markets open opportunities for entrepreneurs willing to opt for export as
a strategic growth variable for their companies.

OBJECTIVES

Evaluate the requirements to export and market the coffee with available
technology.

Establish consumption of Coffee in the USA, suppliers and marketers


with the objective of determining the competitiveness of the existing
market.
Plan coffee exports

In order to export coffee to the USA, we use commercial relations with this
country and, taking advantage of the great reputation that Colombian coffee has
abroad, we can open new markets and new exports.

The coffee is perfect to transport thanks to its characteristics and one of it is the
conservation.

Analyzing the consumption of coffee in the USA, the market, income and
competition, we developed the financial roadmap and the projections for the first
years.

Origin:
The history of the coffee goes back to the thirteenth century, although the origin
of coffee is still unclear. It is believed that the Ethiopian ancestors of the present
