High-efficiency clarification
ECOTEC tube settlers are a cost-effective solution to increase the clarification surface of settlers in drinking and
waste water treatment plants. The modules can be supplied in different spacing, slopes, materials and
dimensions, to adjust to several process conditions.

Versatile installations
ECOTEC tube settlers are self-supporting and can be cut, to fit in any clarifier shape, even
circular.

Exclusive support system

ECOTEC has developed its own support system with
beams specifically conceived to minimize the loss of
effective surface, and avoid sludge deposits.

Easy handling
Assembly on site is simple and does not require qualified personnel, which ensures competitive and safe
supply all over the world.

High-quality and resistant material

ECOTEC Tube settlers have high stability for an
easy maintenance. PPTV material is certified for
drinking water applications.

Maximum tolerances
: Depending on maximum spacing, and according to model
: 500 to 2000mm, depending on the model. For circular tanks, the maximum
available height is H = 1000 mm.
: The PPTV tube settlers have lower density than water, and they require installation of an
anti-flotation system.
: The correct sizing of the support structure must consider the weight of the module plus
the total weight in operation including the sludge load. (Recommendation: min. 50 kg/m3,
for wastewater up to 200 kg/m3).
: For large units, ECOTEC can supply special GRP beams, and design the optimum
distribution of the modules.
: Approx. 20 mm or 2% for all dimensions, whichever is higher. Lower tolerances must be
agreed in advance.
