General Introduction
All new design of AICOOL - XB Air Cooled Water Chillers offer you efficiency and value added
possibility as Cooling system for Industrial purposes and also Commercial Air Conditioning
System. With continuously developing, well designed and high quality components, XB series
chillers deliver energy cost advantages because of electrically efficient, match to cooling load
and high reliability.
New Refrigerant and Natural Refrigerant also available as an options to meet several regulation
and give more advantages as a long term Refrigerant instead of HCFC Phase Out Planning on
next few years.

Standard Features
COMPRESSOR, using European Standard Semi Hermetic - Reciprocating compressor which
certified from ASERCOM (European Association of Manufacturers of Refrigerant Compressors
and Adjustment Devices) for a program the certification of the data relative to the performance
of Refrigerant Compressor. For all Compressors, protection is performed by means a series of
PTC Thermistors placed into the stator winding of the electric motor and plugged to an electric
Module, and Oil level/pressure Control for some of Size.
Supplied with suction and discharge service valve, rubber/spring vibration absorbers and oil
lubrication charge.

CONDENSER, the coils has been optimized using more efficient inner grooved tubes, this benefit
provides lower energy consumption in a compact size. Enhanced fin spacing provides for peak
design performance and easy to cleaning. Extra protection for fin could be added as vinyl gold
coated or hydrophilic blue fin even heresite coating for extremely harsh environment.
Air through coils drawn by axial fans, constructed in such a way that the motor which is external
rotor type, and the fan hub are integrated. This type of construction results in highly effective
cooling of the motor by the airflow passing over it.

Standard Features
PARTS AND ACCESSORIES, XB Series uses a Direct Expansion with Thermostatic Expansion
Valve to Shell and Tubes Heat Exchanger as Evaporator. Shell and tube heat exchanger are the
most versatile type of heat exchanger, because provide relatively large ratios of heat transfer
area to volume and also for cleaning possibility. The evaporator shell hold chilled water is
constructed of carbon steel with refrigerant carrying copper tubes inside. The outer shell is
insulated with 20 mm thickness closed cell polyethylene, prevent thermal and energy loss.
On liquid line there is standard accessories to make system clean and service accessibility for
further maintenance issues. Filter drier is factory installed to guards the system with excellent
moisture and acid adsorption and highly efficient dirt retaining capabilities. Solenoid Valve for
maintain both high and low pressure side remains when system off and sight glass is next part
after the filter driers. Two pieces of manual ball valve on between of liquid line accessories
completing piping line for service and maintenance purposes.

CONTROL AND PROTECTION, Electrical controls are all factory mounted in a pre painted
galvanized control panel. The control panel is factory wired, tested and labelled, complete with
indicator lamp, thermostat and switches mounted on the doors. Single and Dual circuit models
feature state of the art PLC control.
System protected with : high pressure control, low pressure control, water flow switches, and
thermostat.
