City of Huntington Beach Names Lori Ann
Farrell Harrison its New Assistant City
Manager --Farrell Harrison joined the City
in 2010 as its Chief Financial Officer
Lori Ann has proven to be a true asset and important resource to the
City of Huntington Beach, said City Manager Fred A. Wilson. She joined
the city in a challenging time, and over the past seven years, has demon-
strated solid leadership and management skills. I congratulate her on her
new role, and know she will do an outstanding job as Assistant City Man-
ager.
As the CFO for the City of Huntington Beach, Farrell Harrison was re-
sponsible for the financial oversight of the citys $344 million annual
budget and former redevelopment agency funding. She was instrumental
in creating a financing plan to develop the citys new 50,000 square foot
Senior Center in Central Park. She is also attributed with achieving an
AAA rating for the City of Huntington Beach from Fitch Ratings due to
her leadership, financial acumen and expertise.
She previously served as the City Controller for the City of Long Beach,
and later became Chief Financial Officer overseeing a department of 136
employees and a City budget of $2.3 billion. She is the former President
of the Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners.
Lori Ann received her Master's Degree in Public Administration from
Columbia University and has a Bachelor's Degree from Barnard College
of Columbia University.

About City of Kindness

City of Kindness is a nationwide initiative to work with kindness organizations and leverage the out-
reach strategies of brands and organizations that espouse kindness. By working together, City of Kind-

for living and use the Kindness Counter, an online aggregator of acts of kindness. City of Kindness
launch partners include the Born This Way Foundation, Kind Campaign, KIND Healthy Snacks and
