invite you to participate in the launch of the Joy of Giving Week
celebrations in Bangalore, where for the first time ever children will
form the longest human chain the city of Bangalore has ever
witnessed.
The Human Chain to be formed by over 3000 children at the CBD
(central business district) of Bangalore, Karnataka (India) on 2nd
October 2013, provides an opportunity to empower in children the
spirit of togetherness and showcase the joy of giving while
representing solidarity.
About Bal Utsav
Bal Utsav is a nonprofit, nonpartisan professional organization that
provides learning opportunities for children, parents, teachers,
practitioners, researchers and organizations working with children
and youth based issues at the national, state, and local levels.
Bal Utsav connects citizens, civil society groups, corporates,
academicians, media and government through various online and

About Joy of Giving Week
The Joy of Giving Weekheld every year from October 2nd 8th, is
India's festival of giving.
encourages them to celebrate giving time, money, skills or love.
It is a concerted effort across NGOs, companies, celebrities,
media, schools, colleges, and the aam juntaStarted in 2009,
this year (Oct 2-8, 2013) will be the 5th edition. Last year,
conservative estimates say 2 million+ people participated in 70+
cities with 800+ events registered (from small individual events to
those involving >100,000 people) and Rs 30cr+ generated in
donations of cash and materials along with millions of volunteer
hours.

Payment Conditions
- All prices listed are in Indian Rupees. Disclaimer
- All payments must be made in Indian Rupees. The entitlements listed in this document are offered on the basis
- Bank cheques, Demand Drafts and Inter Bank Fund Transfer or that confirmation of a sponsors involvement is received prior to the

Sponsors Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of sponsors to provide the materials listed in BalUtsav reserves the right to amend these packages subject to
the package, once the commitment has been made. change in the program format.

those who actively promote their presence at the event and
provide any required materials in a timely manner.

Sponsor Agreements
Once your preferred sponsorship package has been negotiated,
the Event Organizers, will prepare a Sponsor Agreement for your
signature. The Agreement is to be signed and returned within the
timeframe specified.

Sponsorship Cancellation Policy

Sponsorship cancellations must be made in writing. Please note
that the detailed cancellation policy will be outlined in the Terms &
Conditions included with the Sponsor Agreement.
