JESUS OUR MODEL OF LISTENING

We have to keep in mind the necessity of opening ourselves to god. W need to be in touch with God
who is with us in our ministry as we do

Sp. Is a spiritual relationship involving holy listening. Companionship of two people directing each other.
While

- The spirit is the true retreat guide. He uses the skills of the one who listens.
- it is an intimate walk with god where a person pens and shares what is going on on her journey.
- You are helping the person to recognize what the experience
- You help the guide recognize the presence of God.
- listen to everything even what is not being said.

At the beginning of creation, God rested. This describes the God who listens. Listening is a real gift and
God is listening to s all the time.

God speaks to us in our hearts. It is important to have time for prayer where we can listen to God.

Jesus was found in the temple listen to the elders.

Feedback is needed when listening. You do not just listen and keep quiet.

Jesus understood the disciples because he had a listening heart. He got the people where they were
and helped them the way they were. the relationship between listening and understanding.

In listening we have to put a guard tour emotions.
