a. Geodetic
Map is a representation of the earth surface which is an important component as a fundamental
aspect in planning or research of a particular location. The scope of work in geodetic surveys are:
- Control Point Establishment
- Topographic Survey
- Aerial Mapping

b. Hydro-Oceanographic
This scope consists of bathymetry measurements, current, tides, waves, and winds observations
at a location that affects oceanographic conditions within the survey area. In addition, by
collecting data related to sediment or physical properties of seawater. Some of the outputs of this
work are as follows:
- A bathymetry map that describe seabed condition
- Explanation of oceanographic condition
- Model of Sediment Transport
- Model of Thermal Dispersion

c. Geotechnical
Discussion of soil and rock strength and its relation to the ability to hold the load of the buildings
on it. Geotechnical survey conducted on land or at sea, depending on the location of planned
building. This survey consist of:
- Geotechnical Drilling (onshore & offshore)
- Standard Penetration Test (SPT)
- Dutch Cone Penetration Test (DCPT)
- Laboratory Test of Sample
- Marine Sediment Sampling

d. Geophysical
Geophysical survey objective to determine the conditions under the surface of the earth that
involves measurements on the Earth's surface of the physical parameters possessed by rocks in
the earth. This survey consist of:
- Geoelectrical
- Magnetometer Survey
- Side Scan Sonar Survey
- Sub Bottom Profiler
