Steps to Follow for Submission of Admission-cum-Examination Form

(Except MBA Executive Semester -I and B.Ed Semester-I)

Before registering yourself, please go through the following schedule of admission process and
read the relevant information provided in the prospectus for course eligibility, subjects etc.

Register yourself for Admission

Note down your Login Id and Password (received in your phone/e-mail)


Step 4 for operating your admission account

Login your admission account through Candidate Login


Step 5

Select the Course of your Choice and fill the Admission-cum-Examination


Step 6 Form

Pay the fee. Select your mode of payment of fee i.e. either Online through Net-banking/
Step 7 Credit Card/ Debit Card or through Fee-Challan in State Bank of India (SBI) /Post office*

Step 8
Take print outof the complete Admission-cum-Examination form **

Step 9
Come for on the spot verification of Original documents/certificates ***
*If you pay the fee through online mode i.e. Net-banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card, then your
admission process will be completed immediately and you have to take the print out of the
complete form then and there. In case the print of your form is not generated, this means your
online transaction has failed and your payment will be refunded by concerned bank in your
account within 7 days of transaction. In such a case either retry or pay the fee through fee
Challan in SBI/Post Office.
If you want to pay fee through fee Challan in SBI/Post Office, then generate the fee Challan
from your admission account and after 24 hours of generating this Challan, deposit the requisite
fee mentioned in the fee challan in any Branch of SBI/Post Office.
Important Note:- Fees submitted through any other mode e.g. Bank Draft, Cash Counter
Receipt, Pay order will not be adjusted/accepted.

** In case of online payment of fee, print will be generated as soon as the fee is paid (through
Net-banking/Credit/Debit card) but in case of fee payment through fee Challan, the candidates
have to Login again (after one day of deposit of fee in SBI/Post Office) to their admission
account at http://onlineadmissions.puchd.ac.in/usolIndex.aspx and then generate the print of the
Admission-cum-Examination form.

*** You will get a date for face-to-face counseling on your Admission-Cum-Examination Form for
on the spot verification of your documents/certificates. You are advised to come to USOL on the
given date with the print out of Admission-cum-Examination form and supporting Original
certificates/documents along with their one photocopy each. The documents will be verified on
the spot and the same will be returned to you immediately and subsequently your admission will
be confirmed. Thus it is in your interest to come for on the spot admission on the allotted dates
otherwise your document verification may take more time and also till then your original
documents will be retained by USOL.

In case, you are not able to attend the face-to-face counseling (on the spot verification),
then send the complete Admission-cum-Examination Form along with the Original
documents/Certificates to the University School of Open Learning by the scheduled dates
through Post, preferably by Registered Post at the following address:

Note: USOL does not take the responsibility for any postal delay. Please retain the receipt
issued by postal department while dispatching these documents.
Following Original Documents/ Certificates are required to be brought (at the time of
face-to-face counseling) or be sent to USOL (if not attending face-to-face counseling)
with the print out of Admission-cum-Examination Form:
Original Certificate / Original Detailed Marks Card of the qualifying examination on
the basis of which you are seeking admission. (The original documents will be
returned/sent back to you when all the formalities are completed).
Migration Certificate if +2 Examination passed from any Board other than PSEB, HSEB,
HPSEB, CBSE and ICSE New Delhi (Only for Students seeking admission to B.A. /B.Com.
Semester I)
Migration Certificate (Only for Students who have passed the lower examinations from any other
University)
Character Certificate from the Principal of the School / College last attended if it is first time
admission in USOL)
SC/ST Certificates: Students who availed PMS or want to avail freeship, have to attach the
required documents at listed with Scholarships/freeship in this prospectus.
USOL Copy of generated Fee-Challan of the Bank/Post Office
Other documents in support of your claim for fee concession or relaxation of minimum
marks of eligibility in case of special category etc.
